I plugged the servo in first. I plugged the receptacle in horizontally on the top of the three plug prongs. I plugged it in with the brass pins pointing up. Then I plugged in the hot wire to the single row on the top two barbs with the brass tabs pointing down. Then the three blue lights flicker for about 2 seconds and then it just changes to one blue light on all the time, after which you can control your servo with the knob.

The media could not be loaded. I needed a battery holder to test out a fan I'm installing on my Traxxas udr aluminum chassis. The servo tester is one of the cheapest things I've seen. I don't need it but just a heads up to someone that buys it for the servo tester it's not worth it.

There are so useful if you are unsure about your servos. To be honest, I know the actual cost of these PCB, but it was worth a little mark up to have this. Notable that actually running 3 simultaneous 9g servos will overload the power intake and make the device reset. However, it's made tests way easier. Recommended.

It's nice tool to have to check the servo on planes or building new planes to center them and check that they're functioning right before installing.

Using with a 9g servo, you have to turn the knob very, very slowly. Even then, it gets stuck on reset while the lights flash.

It lit up and seemed to work until I actually tried it with the servo in my Xane MiG-17. Plugged the same servo into a receiver, and it snapped to center so the servo is not dead. Tried it on a micro RC plane servo. Nothing. I bought this looking for something to set my servos to neutral position before installing the wings on the plane. Wound up not working for the 9G servos that were in the wings for the ailerons. I had tried using different power sources and plugging everything in different orders. The servos were not burned out. Waste of my 8 dollars. The unit is just a PCB with a wax paper casing rather than plastic. Unless you need this for the battery container id advise you stay away. Id put in a request for a refund but its not worth the trouble to ship this e waste back out.

After a few tests, the controller stopped working. Update: The vendor was very nice in his communication and refunded the order amount.
