I use these in RC ships that sink. The waterproof servos turn one or two rudders and still function under 6’ of water.

    • It's nice that it is waterproof, pretty tough under rough condition, I just wish it had metal gears.
The Traxxas 2056 High Torque servo is a decent quality, plastic gear, waterproof servo with a good amount of torque (80 oz.). It will work with any Futaba servo horn and of course the Traxxas on servo horns. It will fit any standard servo mount and has a Futaba J style connector. I've used these in a few different vehicles that are driven in snow/water and has always held up well. I just wish Traxxas offered it in a metal gear version for a little more money. Traxxas very good about standing behind their products so if you have an issues be sure to contact them. ... show more

Purchased this servo to replace a traxxas 2055 servo in my (2005) t-maxx 2.5, that had seized up completely. Perfect fit and no issues.

5 stars for the seller, 3 stars for Traxxas. These servos seem to break with no rhyme or reason, and all too often. Which there was a better aftermarket equivalent but of the two I tried, both lasted about as long.

Arrived defective. Upon installation servo is already showing signs of inaccurate inputs from the reciever. Full throttling without input from controller. Unstable idle and throttle response.
