  • Lightweight, packs a bunch! Buy on a deal
This is definitely one of the most lightweight rollers I have seen. But it can pack a lot, especially if you use the expandable zipper. I can vouch for it since we used on international flights where they weigh your carryons too. The fabric has a give to pack more if needed, especially ow when the airlines are charging for check ins. The 2-wheel versus 4-wheels, gives more room to pack. Only problem is when the suitcase is not fully packed, and you are pulling it along, it can flip to the side. Upside: the wheels are big and roll on different surfaces better and also easy to change with spare parts available for this brand. The handle is easy to extend and pack, almost too easy. One trick I learnt, pack heavy items towards the bottom. It may not be as bulletproof as another brand which airline crew prefer, but is good enough for us and the price is also good. ... show more

  • Glad I Bought It
UPDATE: I’ve taken this in multiple trips- several times wheeled around NYC, Hawaii, ect.. lots of rough paths & it has held up so well! The wheels do not seem to be phased by all the use they’ve gotten. Never have problems fitting it in overhead even when packed full. Still so happy with my purchase! All and all, I’m glad I brought this suitcase! It holds SO much. Was able to pack enough cold weather outfits to last over a week. Love that it has the expandable zipper for even more space, however I didn’t even have to use it bc it’s so roomy inside! The suitcase itself is very light. I had to no problem putting it in the overhead bins, even with it packed full. It won’t fit into the overhead bins of smaller, regional planes. But if you’re flying mainline you won’t have any problems. I chose the 2 wheels instead of 4 swivel wheels, so I wouldn’t lose any space inside the suitcase. The wheels roll smoothly. I’ve only taken it on 3 trips, so I can’t speak for its durability but I’ve loved it so far. ... show more

  • Quality
I've used this on at least 15-20 flights and there is not a scratch on it yet. So far it has withheld everything the airlines can throw at it. It's roomy and good quality. The wheels work great and the handle moves smoothly.

  • Does what it says.
Durable, light, high capacity and fits in the overhead. That's just about it! I am not going all fancy in the review. It did what it said it would and I bought it for just that. 2-wheel extra capacity carryon.

  • This is a smart looking carryon
Love this carry one. It is SO LIGHT. It looks elegant and business like. And it packs a lot of clothes. Only dislike: The roller handle has an ergonomic curve to it that is nice for your hands , but can make it difficult to slide a backpack over it.

  • Still Great after all these years...
So after I read a bunch of cruddy reviews about this rollaboard, I was all freaked out and spent hours trying to find something better that wasn't like $800+ (and even those really weren't better). But everything else was a little too small, too cheaply made, too many more complaints than even here, too... well... Too too. So I sucked it up and bought this Travelpro bag and it still lives up to my last two bags (this one is a teeny TINY bit smaller). And some of the complaints like "the legs are flimsy and are attached with pressure pins (or something like that) rather than screws" are just plain ol' not true. Y'all make your own decisions, but this thing actually feels tougher than my second Travelpro that just recently had to be buried in the backyard, but only after 13 years of heavy service to the tune of at least 3/4 million miles on SW during that time. Time will tell, but I think Travelpro still has it. If it doesn't, I will update here. I am still traveling at least 15 to 20 trips a year with about half of them to Cen.Am. (how else can I keep companion pass?). My first Travelpro bag lasted 14 years (and well over a million miles of US and international travel) and my second lasted 13 years, so by some standards the quality has gone down, but not really folks. ¡Buen viaje! ... show more

  • Roomy bag. Light but doesn’t work with coordinating piece.
Roomy bag. I so wanted to love it. I bought the underseat coordinating bag. However that bag - will not hook onto the 22” easily. It has to be maneuvered on which is difficult when empty due to the design -curve of the handle. It’s tight and unwieldy. It fit fine on my travelpro bold. Designers of travelpro please make sure coordinating pieces work together. I returned this bag because I don’t want the hassle of trying to make it work. ... show more
