These boots may be one of my best purchases. They are warm, very comfortable, water & slip proof & so stylish with a lift with the wedge and couldn’t we a use a little lift. I’m 5’5” and usually order a size 9 but I can fit in a 8.5 but I order the 9 when 8.5 wide is not available. Well I took a chance and ordered these in an 8.5 because the sale price was so good but size 9 was not on sale. They do not offer 9 wide. I also know the size of my foot in inches & I used the size chart provided and in length they were my size. I was worried they would be to narrow but to my surprise they fit perfectly even with my thick winter socks. I can tell this is very high quality and will last several years. I originally had a pair of muck boots on order when I found these and the sale price was so good and they were almost 1/2 the price so I canceled the muck boots and ordered these. No regrets on this purchase although these aren’t as easy on and of but they are not that difficult and make up for it in the close fit you get. I’ve never had sorel boots but if your considering them I recommend buying them. I wore them all day and night in and out my house and there is no break in period. I really can’t say enough about these boots they are outstanding! My only question is on how to care for them? I will contact the company to get an answer if they don’t respond here. I bought 2 different styles of Joan of Arctic wedges, and I love them, but I needed something slightly lower. For colder months, I need boots, but I need something with a heel so that the back of my foot doesn't get blisters from constant friction (every boot without a heel that I've worn does the same thing to my feet). Joan of Arctic heel height is slightly too high for a lot of walking. So I thought I'd try these. These are perfect. They go with everything professional and casual in my cold-weather wardrobe. And they are great for walking, being a comfortable heel height and width (my feet are slightly wide). They are cute and functional, both important characteristics taken into consideration when joining my closet collection. I feel steady on my feet with the low wedge heel and great traction. I put them on and have worn them several times, and they haven't given me any discomfort. My feet are able to breathe well enough, so they don't get all sweaty or stinky, but they've stayed dry in rainy conditions. I anticipate that they'll do great in the snow. I was looking for a pair of slip-ons that were cute enough to wear out but also easy to put on and non-slip on ice and snow. We get a LOT of snow and ice. I’m 62 years old. These fit the bill. I wouldn’t walk all day in them like the young women, but definitely comfortable for several hours. Decent arch support and roomy toe box for my normal-ish feet. Bought size 9 and they are right on target. Very cute (I hate “old lady shoes” and refuse to dress like a stereotypical one). Typical Sorel quality and good traction. I bought these for a weeklong trip to London in November. I wanted something cute, with good grip, weather resistance, and something that would be relatively comfy for walking around all day. I would say these did pretty well! They seem well made and I think they are so cute and have a little wedge heel. It didn’t really rain on my trip, so I can’t speak to the weather proof/resistance, but I will update my review when I get to test that. I walked at least 15k steps everyday and they were supportive and comfy. My feet did get sore, but walking around on concrete all day will do that to them regardless of what shoe I wear. I did have to wear tall socks with them (under my pants) so the top edge didn’t rub on my ankle. According to the size chart, I am a 5.5, so I ordered that and they fit well. ... show more

Just as I hoped they would be. So comfortable. Fit just as expected for the size. Love the look of the material and the heel height of this boot. I have these in black leather, but love the suede look of these boots so much more. Great value for a Sorel boot!
