Travelon brand purses are my favorite whether I am going abroad or shopping down the street; they are always really well-made, practical and reasonably priced, as well as being attractively designed. The interior set up of this one is similar to previous purse and has much better, sturdier interior fabric that holds its position and shape while I am inserting my cell phone, check book and other items. I purchased this purse for a trip to Ireland and Scotland. The top one-third of the front of the purse is a vinyl material. The rest of the purse and the shoulder strap are a nice durable fabric. There are two zippered pockets on the front of the purse and one on the back. The lower pocket on the front has a metal zipper pull that clips on a ring attached to the purse. It's a little difficult to hook which would make it difficult for a thief to unhook. The hardware on the purse is metal and sturdy. The inside of the purse is lined with nylon. It has one zippered pocket and two open pockets that will hold your phone. There is also a water bottle holder on the inside. The zipper pull on the main compartment also hooks onto a ring on the strap for security. The length of the shoulder strap is adjustable and is very comfortable to wear. I ordered this purse because I needed something a little bit bigger than my previous one. The inside of this bag looks small at first but you can put a lot of things in it. I put a water bottle, small passport wallet, pill bottle, small cosmetics bag and small brush in mine and had room to cram my tablet in when I had to gate check my carryon. I already have a smaller Travelon bag, but I wanted a bit larger bag. I really like their bags as they make it harder for someone to steal them. But my older bag had the batteries included and this new one doesn't. In the little plastic bag attached to the lite was only instructions to put them in. Bummer. I needed a new bag for traveling, particularly to locations known for professional pickpockets. The bag was a good size, I stored my passport in one of the lockable front pockets. The locking feature took a few minutes of practice which made it more believable that a pickpocket would think twice before attempting anything.
