The media could not be loaded. This is my Second attempt at a Travelon bag, my first one was too tall and narrow for my body type. I posted some pictures and a video review as well. I am a very short bodied person 5'3", so I can't use a "tall" purse without looking "stumpy" or having the purse be from my hip to my armpit. This bag hugs to my hip well. It is a little bit bulky fully packed but I do have it crammed FULL of stuff. It fit : 2 Tour Books, large and small, language guide, hard glasses case, hard camera case, full sized wallet with checkbook, diabetic testing kit, and power bank/charger for electronics. Plus a small amount of makeup and a pen. It has 2 end pockets that will fit both 16 oz and 23 oz water bottles. I did have a small issue with one of the zipper pulls coming off, a simple "crimp" down of the zipper holder and it was fine. ... show more

Got this for a two week trip to India to replace older, bulkier camera bags. I wanted something that was big enough for my DSLR and lenses, but also more purse like and with the anti-theft functions. I loved using it; the one caveat is that the waterbottle pockets are a little small for a standard water bottle, but I just ended up putting tissues in them for bathroom use. Comfortable to wear, loved the interior zippered pocket for extra security. Would highly recommend! There are a lot of things I like about the organization of this bag. I also enjoy that it is a bit on the smaller side with expandable pouches on either end that I can put my water bottle or sunglasses into. It is even relatively comfortable to carry. HOWEVER, I got this bag around Thanksgiving and now it is February and, even without daily use, THE INSIDE LINER HAS COMPLETELY DETACHED ON ONE SIDE! - This is particularly unacceptable for a bag that is supposed to be sturdy, but really even less than I would expect from a regular purse/bag of decent quality. This is the most user-friendly bag I have ever owned. Being a messenger style, it slips on and off very easily and is extremely lightweight, unlike my heavy leather bags. The main compartment is plenty big enough for my big (heavy) B-Mak wallet, and personal items, with room to spare. I love the see-through netted zipper compartment in the bag-I can actually see what is in there! I have yet to rummage through to find something, and that is highly unusual for unorganized me! The multiple outer pockets are so accessible, and I love the side pockets, which are expandable via zippers, making them even more versatile for not just water bottles. The quality is very good, zippers all work very smoothly, strap is very adjustable for any height/size of person (I'm only 5'2"). Yes, it is not a high fashion leather bag, and I did purchase this as a travel bag to take on my up coming sightseeing tour of New York, but I have been using it for over a month as an everyday bag, and I am spoiled by how easy it is to use and comfortable it is to carry. I am glad I got this size as it is not overly big but still substantial enough to carry essentials with ample extra storage left over for small purchases, a light sweater, gloves, hat, or whatever I might need to carry while on my trip. The break away strap has already come in handy at a restaurant or grocery store to attach to the chair, cart, if needed. I have not used the other security features yet in my small hometown, but will feel that my valuables to be very safe from pickpocketers in a big city. I will get rid of my wallet, reorganize my credit cards and cash in the proper places, and be ready to go with this comfortable bag. I am so happy I purchased this! ... show more

After doing a large amount of research on the perfect travel purse to take to Europe I decided to get this purse. The quality of this bag is just terrible. I will never purchase anything from Travelon again. Within the first week the side pockets were torn up from the zippers. While I was in Europe the inside of the bag ripped open. I didn't put anywhere near what they say you can put in this bag because I didn't want to carry around anything too heavy. I am very disappointed that this bag was essentially one use only. My advice spend more money on a brand that has better quality. ... show more

Great bag, I already have another one in the stone colour but wanted a better colour for travelling that doesn't show dirt, scratch marks, scuffs etc so went for this burgundy colour as it will stand out from all the black bags you see so many women have. I was able to fit so much into this bag on a recent 36 day cruise followed with an extra 15 days in Italy. It is strong, safe, secure, comfortable & would highly recommend this product knowing it has a slash proof shoulder strap. I wore the bag across the shoulder with the body of the bag in front of my chest for extra security, never had any problems at all. As I like to drink a lot when walking around on sightseeing tours this bag has a bottle holder on the side. I have over the years tried so many & different styles, shapes, sizes of travel bags & have found this one to be the best, not over big or small & it is not heavy (only when it is filled adds weight but it depends on what you put into the bag). The stone coloured bag had a few marks & stains on it from my travels & wanted to wash it but wasn't sure how it would go in the washing machine so I did a spot clean & hung it on the clothes line outside in full sunlight to make sure it was well & truly dry & then turned it inside out for a good airing.
