I bought four of these suitcases to travel via airplane with as a carry-on. We flew Delta and its size was acceptable for a carry-on. I bought one for each: 6 year old, 7 year old, 9 year old, and myself an adult. The inside of the suitcase is nice. The separation zipper on the inside is great. The outside zipper may get caught up every now and then, but ultimately it did great without breaking. The hardcase is why I give it a four star rating. It's hard, but seems like a fragile-type hard case. Almost like it'll break if something heavy gets stacked on it. Additionally, it scratches easily. It held up for all of us on our trip. The handles seemed like they would break at anytime due to lack of quality. The probably would have except I expected it may be the case and spend time with each of my children one-on-one making sure they knew exactly how to work them. They will break if they were used without care of thought. Overall, I give it four stars because the price compared to other carry-ons and the lack of quality where expected before purchase (thank you to other reviewers) was fair. ... show more

Great carry-on. Stuffed it and everything held up. Took a 1-way flight, with a change of planes since I drove up with a friend. Fit in the car nicely & maneuvered well on the asphalt. Suitcase size is perfect size for what I need. Using it as a carry on for my 14 yr old. I was disappointed because ordered the rose colored suitcase for my teen daughter and recieved a teal one. For an inexpensive carry on bag it worked perfectly have used it several times and it’s holding up well. Seems to be able to take normal abuse. I am certainly not the type to beat on things. I bought two of these one for me and one for My Son . We have gone on four flights now and they are still the same condition as when I got them. We definitely filled them to the max and then some. I bought this for a short weekend trip to Las Vegas and it did everything I wanted it to. I even took a 3.4 mile walk from one end of the strip to the other, dragging it behind me over some rough gravel and sand, and it did not fall apart.
