Traveler’s Choice Silverwood is made of 100 percentage polycarbonate hard- shell to maximize protection of your belongings, the traveler's choice silver wood has a unique diamond-cut texture finish to prevent abrasive scratches and finger prints. The patent-pending T-cruiser handle system allows you to maneuver your bag with ease. The downward curve of the handle fits the natural position of your hand, thereby minimizing discomfort or fatigue. The double tubes of the handle system maximize the interior space for packing and still allow for a 2nd bag to be carried on top. The push-button mechanism and multi- stage locking feature allows you to adjust the height of the handle to maximize comfort.

I am very critical when it comes to durability and function. I travel internationally up to 30 times a year and go through many suitcases..mostly in the middle east and eastern Europe, the wheels break off. I have traveled over 50 flight hours the past two months and this suitcase still functions well, and looks great! The combination lock works well, the zipper and dividers are exceptionally well made, the retractable handle does not wobble as of yet, the suitcase can hold and expand well. So far it has yet to scratch. In fact, it is well made. I filled up the suitcase without the zipper extender unzipped and the suitcase weighed 85 pounds! The wheels handled the weight and the airline didn't break the wheels due to stress load. Plus the handle curve design stands out when retrieving my suitcase among hundreds of other grey suitcases that look at first glance similar without the sturdy handle design.. We bought two of these to travel to Rome for 8 days. With our two carry-ons we had enough room to use one of these entirely for gifts on the way back. Well made and durable. We did purchase straps because we learned that they prevent zipper damage by taking the strain of holding the case shut off the zippers! The glides work really well and the handles are comfortable. One of the best features is that each half has its own zippered cover so things don’t fall out when you’re opening it. I’ve always wondered why most cases don’t have that. We love that our full size carry-on bags fit inside them for long term storage. All around great pieces of luggage!! ... show more

This is a great piece. It has lots of room for a weeks worth of clothes and a woman's supply of shoes. The only down side is the plastic pocket is only plastic on one side the other side is fabric. The fabric side is on the side with clothes. My shampoo leaked into the pocket and I spent over an hour cleaning shampoo out of the fabric liner, I'm just glad it happened on the way home. My clothes were covered in shampoo too. Oh and the liner isn't removable so you need to clean it with a cloth instead of just throwing it into the wash. Make sure anything you put into the pocket is inside a plastic bag. ... show more

Good suitcase. This is the fourth set of luggage I have purchased in the last 6 months due to baggage handling at airlines. This has held up fine over the past month (the others only lasted one or two trips). I travel most every week and I am completely happy with this suitcase. Very fair price for the quality. I paid much more for other brands that lasted less than a month maybe two. The wheel system is great, rolls smooth and straight. Only part about the wheels is if there is a raise in the concrete or asphalt the wheels have trouble negotiating to the raised part of the ground. I'm officially several flights in with this bag and waited purposely to do a review until I could allow Delta and some of the other airlines to handle my luggage. I had the London Fog bag before and it was totally destroyed but this bag takes a licking and keeps on ticking. I have a few scuffs, which should be expected, but I love how I can literally put over a week's worth of clothes and suites in this bag including gym clothes, ropes etc.. and still have space for my PlayStation lol. Looking forward to finding other products from this line to include into a collection. Also traveling to Amsterdam soon and will be using this bag to pack all of my rain gear, hiking stuff, and travel clothes all in their sperate compartments.
