Love this bag. So many pockets for lots of storage. Stores very nicely under Southwest seats even with the bag stuffed to the brim. Love how it fits on the handle of my carry on. Like the fact that you can store the straps for the back so you do not have to deal with those unless you choose to use wear it as a back pack. Great quality and has a nice little opening so you can put a power bank in the bag and charge your phone on the outside. You could definitely pack for a short weekend trip in that bag. I used it as my personal item and did a carry on and it was great. There is a compartment made for a laptop and one that is kind for damp items or even cold items. The colors are also very nice and true to what they say they are. I bought 2 one in this teal color and one in olive. The olive green was a true olive green not like the other I had purchased and returned in order to buy this bags.

I have used this backpack/suitcase on several trips in various parts of the world. It is extremely well organized. You can use it as a comfortable backpack to go through airports when you have other things to carry. If it is your only piece of luggage, you can either carry it with the side handle or the one on the end. The straps for the backpack can be tucked away so they aren't flopping around. The compartments are well organized, with space for a laptop or tablet, plus pockets of varying sizes. It will fit under the seat in front of you if you don't overstuff it! The color is nice and you can remove spots easily. I have not yet tried to wash it, but that may happen after my next trip. Bottom line--it's one of the best pieces of travel equipment that I have! Well made, attractive, easy to use, and I get compliments on it frequently.

Just recently took this as a carry-on bag for a 10 day overseas trip. Completely exceeded my expectations! So well designed, from the padded laptop compartment, to the interior, which has straps to hold items in place, just like a small suitcase would. Seams and zippers all seem sturdy. I love the fact that there is a zippered space to stow the shoulder straps, if you're not using it as a backpack - so no extra straps flopping around; also, the exterior compression straps, which, once you have everything packed, makes this a nice, compact package! I did not have to worry about competing for space in the overhead bins, as I would with my wheeled carryon, yet it holds just as much. Love it! Recommend.

This backpack worked even better than I’d hoped. It held everything I wanted for my trip without becoming overly heavy. It fit easily into the overhead compartment on the airplane as well. I would definitely buy it again.

I purchased this backpack to use as my personal item on a weeklong trip to Charleston. I used the backpack to tote a change of clothes, a set of pajamas, my undergarments, a magazine, snacks, water bottle, charger cables, a jacket, purse, first aid kit and souvenirs on the way back. I was looking for a well-reviewed backpack with a zip pocket on the back for my phone and ID, padded straps, no logo, trolley sleeve, chest strap and able to survive a rain shower. Overall I was satisfied with this purchase. This keeps its shape when not full, but is not super structured so is also easy to store flat when not in use. A couple of negatives - the trolley strap is not great, so I ended up not using it. It was a little large to go under the seat of one of the smaller regional jets I was on (and it was too full to smush down). The backpack material was a smooth nylon which was lightweight but after one trip it looked worn. It is still very usable - zippers work well, etc. I feel like it served the purpose I wanted it for, and I'm going to give it another shot in a darker color for an upcoming vacation.

First, let me say that I searched for a long time for a backpack that would also serve as a carry-on for an international trip and I am very happy with the bag. I didn't want to check a bag, so I had a rolling carry on and this backpack for a 10 day trip to England. I am an overpacker! I was able to bring exactly what I needed between these two bags. The backpack made it possible. I would not have had everything had it not been for this addition. It was a great purchase and I highly recommend this bag! I have a ton of Pros: Great price and honestly less expensive than some I've seen and is very good quality; Very roomy suitcase area with secure cross strap and it held my things in place; three separate areas for books, notebooks, pens, or computer; a place for the charger line to come through; two plastic zipper bags as a safe space for liquids; secure zipper area when wearing as a backpack; two handles for carrying upright or on its side; a place to hide the straps; a very sturdy strap to slide it over a carry-on handle; it was water resistant too; the zippers close up very well; the material does not feel cheap and is very sturdy. It is so pretty too! I packed this thing so full! If there is a con is that it gets heavy because it holds so much! haha! But! Because it slid EASILY onto my carry on suitcase, this was not a problem for me. I mainly carried it on my rolling suitcase, but when I wore it, it was very easy to adjust and did not sag. I can't carry a backpack for long because of issues with my shoulders, but it did sit on my back in a balanced way. Like I said, it adjusts easily with the straps up front. It is on the longer side, so if you want something short, this is not the one. The only thing I felt that was on the cheap side was the plastic zipper bags that came with it but that was because the zippers didn't feel very strong and it was a little tough to close them. The zippers on the bag itself are very strong and easy to open and close. Long of the short--I don't think you will regret buying this bag. I really think it is the perfect bag.
