  • Fun Travel Guitar
Color: Black
This arrived well packaged. First, the gig bag is excellent. Well padded and strudily constructed with compartments for the metal arms that make up the body. The guitar is well designed and fun to play. It's headless, and weighs in at just over four pounds. Full Fender 25.5 inch scale length. And the fretboard measures 16 inch radius. It's pretty flat if you're used to Fender style necks. I like the flatness. It makes the neck exceptionally fast. And the neck carve is a very comfortable slim C. The string balls sit in holes where the headstock usually is. And the tuners are tightened by twisting knurled cylinders at the end of the body. It takes a bit of finger strength, but the average person should be able to handle it. I changed a string on it to see just how difficult it would be, and it takes a bit of coordination. But again, doable. The guitar was also very well setup right out of the box. Intonation was good. The neck was perfectly straight. The nut is cut very well. And it's a graphite nut, so kudos. The frets were not gritty or corroded, as is so often the case on mailed guitars. The action was 1.75 mm on the Low E and 1.5mm on the high E. I lowered the tunomatic style bridge to get the Low E to 1.5 and the High E to 1.25 and there was absolutely no string buzz or dead frets. Well done. It didn't look like there was any thread left on the bridge to lower it, but it's atually recessed into the body, so appearances are deceiving. There are no volume or tone knobs, which is not really a problem. This is not the only travel guitar without those knobs. The metal attachment arms are well designed. I especially like the lower arm that will sit against your right thigh, so you can play in the classical position, which I prefer. A lot of travel guitars get that part wrong. So, again, good job. I wll say I had some trouble with the screw in pin on the lower arm. I must have cross threaded it and the black plastic head came off when I tried to remove it. I found that seating the arm in properly allowed me a do over with one of the extra pin/screws provided and I got it right after making sure the arm was seated. One oddity, there are two strap buttons on the end of the guitar. I'm guessing that the guitar is ambidextrous. All it needs to be a lefty guitar is to flip the nut and put side markers on the other side of the fretboard and it's ready to go for lefties. And lastly, it sounds great. Just one humbucker and no coil split, but I plugged into my amp and it sounded like a regular, full sized guitar. So, it's really light and a good quality travel guitar. And for around 225 dollars with the current coupon it's a very good value for money. ... show more

  • Just buy the thing!
Color: Brown
Outstanding guitar - action very low and buzz free - I actually raised it to 1.25. The best set up I’ve seen from a Chinese guitar yet. The only issue and the reason I took a star away is the intonation isn’t perfect- I had to swap the orientation of the saddles on the a and d strings to get more adjustment but they are still a just little flat and no more room for adjustment- other than that it’s perfect ... show more

  • Amazing and Portable!
Color: Brown
I must say that this is even a more impressive guitar than the previous model that didn't have the removable stands. This guitar has a very solid construction, the wood used is really nice and has a really nice and vibrant color to it, very pleasant to the eyes. Despite its unique form factor, it is completely functional and very simple considering that is missing the volume and tone dials that you can find in regular electric guitars. Adding the stands adds more support while holding it which really helps with the ergonomics compared to the older model. No complaints about the sound, tested it with my amp and indeed sounds like any other electric guitar out there. Decent strings which are very easy to adjust, the only difference compared to a regular guitar is that the pegs are at the bottom. As you may know this guitar is perfect for traveling, specially using the included case which has compartments for the detachable stands and also for other small accessories you might want to take with you like your amp cord. Also this is the perfect guitar if space at your place is very limited. Have been using it for a couple weeks for my guitar classes and so far it has been working great, just like any other regular electric guitar. I think that this is a very good value for the money if you like simplicity, easy storage and transport. Definitely recommend it as your side or travel guitar. ... show more

  • Ears will bleed
Color: Black
It was uncomfortable to play and sounds awful. If you must have something to practice on, sure. But I wouldn't even play for close friends with this. Using headphones was a painful experience for my ears with the high treble and no adjustable tone.

  • Very good ultra-light guitar
Color: Black
I really love the futuristic shape of this full neck size guitar, with 24 frets, I might add. The rosewood fingerboard is nicely done, easy to maneuver around. A slightly wider neck than most travel size guitars, which I do like. Otherwise, the neck feels greet and the frets are smooth. The design of the guitar is not only different, but functional. The iron support arms actually screw in with some very nice screws, even extras included. but is comfortable, a great travel or bedroom guitar. The problem with this type of headstock is, just the side-by-side tuners, not on the end, which are easier to reach. I think the pickups are pretty good, the neck action fantastic, but there is no volume or tone control at all. Great if you are using a volume pedal, but I don't get not having vol or tone. But this is a spectacular guitar, a spare or take along guitar. ... show more

  • So much fun!
Color: Black
This guitar is fantastic for practicing quietly at home or taking on the road. The headless design makes it incredibly compact and lightweight, which was my main reason for buying it. The full scale neck feels comfortable and familiar to play. The glow in the dark pickup is a fun feature, and the overall sound through headphones is very good for a portable instrument. It came with a nice gig bag and the removable legs work well as a stand. It's the perfect solution for keeping up with practice in an apartment or hotel room. For a travel friendly electric, it is super fun and delivers exactly what it promises. ... show more
