I got this cork ball for my Appalachian Trail hike. I quickly noted that it is a very popular fatigue relief device among hikers. It works well, it's lightweight, it's easy to use. Roll your feet over it, put it between your back and a wall, press it into your forearms or neck. It does it all. Over time it does darken as it picks up dirt and sweat from use. For the price, it's not bad. For my part, I didn't use it much because I don't have a good post-hike stretch/massage habit. I did end up sending it home as a result of this.

If you spend any amount of time on the trail hiking or backpacking, this should be a part of you gear. Works exactly as it should. I mainly use it for sore feet and the end of the day, but I have also used it for kinks in my neck. Great product!
