  • Commercial grade, 16-gauge, deep-drawn stainless steel sink for a budget price!
Style: 1-Hole
Made in Thailand, this Transolid Meridian” 22” x 33” x 9” double-bowl, 16-gauge, stainless steel sink is commercial quality compared to similar major brand sinks costing twice as much, or more, made from thinner 18 or 20 gauge stainless steel that are shallower. Though out of stock, before being discontinued at the orange big box store’s website, this sink popped up a month later on Amazon.com for $20 less, so I jumped on it! I read many one-star reviews about these sinks arriving with bent corners due to being dropped and damaged in transit during shipping, then having to be returned and reordered as many as three times, before receiving one undamaged, but I took a chance, because I wanted commercial quality. Fortunately, my sink arrived in perfect condition. I like the perimeter water stop that runs behind the rear “shelf”, so water from wet sponges, dishrags and scrub brushes set thereupon, drains back into the sink, instead of onto the countertop. I like the 9” depth to accommodate big pots and to contain overspray when using the power wash option on the pull-down spray head on our new faucet. The brushed finish is a bit coarse, retaining a dirty film, unless scrubbed with dish soap and rinsed after rinsing or washing dirty dishes. The mounting flange is flat and stiff, so it seals well to the countertop surface, but the included stick-on foam tape perimeter gasket is not wide or thick enough to adequately seal the flange lip, so I set the sink into the countertop hole, traced a line around the lip edge onto the countertop, removed the sink and masked around outside the line before running a small bead of marine-grade silicone between the gasket and the mounting flange lip for a positive seal when mounted and clamped down in place with the ten included mounting clips installed from underneath the countertop. I broke off the ears on the screwdriver slot tightening the last mounting clip. A male Allen (hex-drive) head would be much better than the thin, fragile straight screwdriver slot. The sound-deadening pads glued under the bottom of both sink bowls eliminate any noise while washing dishes or running the garbage disposal. The drain opening flange in the bottom of both sink bowls are convex, so it forces the rubber sealing gasket away from around the drain fitting neck when tightening the compression ring nut, but the ring of plumber’s putty under the drain fitting mounting flange, seals them from above, inside the sink. ... show more

  • Good sink!
Style: 4-Hole
Very happy with this product. Got a warehouse deal and primarily chose it for the good deal, the fact that it has identical measurements to the one we just replaced, and that my dad said “you can’t go wrong with stainless” meaning no need to look for a certain name brand for a sink if the materials are good. I feel that it looks more expensive than I got it for and even though our old sink was also 9” deep, something about the use of space here makes this sink feel deeper! I was wary about bent corners and was pleased that it arrived in good shape. I still am wary about any rusting but we will be careful of it and if it starts rusting I will certainly update. The stainless steel brushed finish is a little rough so I think if it does rust it will be due to that. The internet says not to use bleach on it or any steel wool or steel scouring brushes, and not to leave metal soaking in it for long periods of time. I’m choosing not to leave, for example, aluminum cans to be rinsed out for recycling to sit in there for extended periods of time and stuff like that. All a sink like this needs for cleaning is soap and water and for extra points you can dry it and shine it up with some olive oil on a microfiber cloth. P.S. when installing do not forget that the brackets are in a small box in the corner of the large box the sink comes in! ... show more

  • Beautiful sink, but flawed?
Style: 4-Hole
I purchased this sink on Amazon Prime day for a good price. When it arrived it appeared to be exactly as expected. I hired a handyman to install the sink. During installation, it became apparent that on one side of the sink, two corners were flared as if they were bent or twisted, necessitating extra caulk which looks odd. Keep in mind in the picture, the extra caulk had yet to be applied to that corner. As I had to hire someone due to physical limitations to install it, it was not cost effective to send it back for a replacement. The mounting brackets underneath were a big pain to install, judging by the sighing and grunting of the handyman. There are 8 that have to be slid along a track that have to be tightened by hand. I was really excited to replace my ginormous cast iron enameled sink with easy to clean stainless one. Now, I'm not sure. Update: As it turns out, it was the handyman who was flawed. He did not use all the mounting clamps, but buried them in the trash. This nullifies the warranty. I've had to purchase more brackets (Home Depot, $2.99 for 6), but these are easier to install as they can be tightened with a screwdriver and are heavier than those provided. I have also had to hire someone else to finish the job, since I didn't want that guy to come back (he offered). The gaps between the sink and counter were a result of no mounting clamps on the front and back of the sink. The handyman just filled in the gaps with caulk. Best advice: Be care who you hire to do the installation. ... show more

  • good looking well built sink
Style: 4-Hole
This sink replaced a sink that was about 55 years old. It was packed with adequate protection and built heavy and looks great. Now we need to remodel the rest of kitchen to match the new sink.

  • Best Buy
Style: 4-Hole
You can not get a 16-gauge stainless steel kitchen tub for $160. The closest big box equivalent costs +$350 with an additional inch of depth. . Upon delivery, I did a quick inspection. Despite the complaints among users, the corners were OK. There were no bents and damages.

  • Excellent value and very well made. Easy to install...
Style: 4-Hole
We had a solid surface that had stained so bad it was uncleanable. We went back to stainless and this is an excellent choice. Easy to install, well made, and perfect for a cooks kitchen. My wife does all the cooking but I do most of the cleaning and this sink has made kitchen clean up much easier. It is deep and wide and can accommodate larger pots and pans very well. It has been several weeks since installed and used and we couldn't be happier with it. ... show more
