It takes a little finesse to get perfect readings but after a few tries I had it working great. The only thing that was happening really was that it was skipping the first letter of the first word. It is surprisingly accurate once you get the hang of it. I love that I can use it to grad text and read it out loud if needed. It also connects to Bluetooth so you can listen without disturbing others around you. It has a nice but small touch screen display to let you go through the settings. I am not sure how long the battery will last in the real world but so far it seems to be fine considering I put it through some heavy use and it never ran out of power. The translation works well but I honestly barely used it so far but I can see it coming in quite handy, especially for travel. This pen is easy to use and it has so many uses and the price was a bit of a sting when I ordered it but having it in hand and seeing it in action I think it is worth it.

I love this pen! I got it for my teenage daughter with dyslexia. It is easy to work, it sounds great, and is a great tool to use when she gets stuck on a word or words. I like how it's small and easy to transport in a purse! Great pen!

Did not have the language it had advertised. Very difficult to work with. Translation was poor and at the elementary level. Also it was hard to just scan one word.
