Went to cosmo school and can say this is a great practice head for preparation for wedding looks, come with good starter accessory items for basic use. Hair is long and beautiful, colorful hair helps to train the eye to do hair styles in a symmetrical way on head (very important later down the road if your serious about doing hair), DOES shead a little bit but that’s to be expected with fake hair. I would call this doll head east to use for young girls in getting them started into hair and styling, and a great gift! You may have to trim just the ends as time goes on to prevent “fly aways” when styling. Stand clamps on to table great and if it breaks their cheap and easy to replace at your local beauty store. The hair is absolutely gorgeous! I bought this for my daughter to learn how to style hair it and couldn’t be anymore perfect - the hair is great quality and over 2 feet long. It also comes with styling tools which is a plus. I also love that it comes with a clamp. Definitely recommend!

I wanted to learn how to French braid. I was having a hard time so I got me a head. Easy to learn on because it doesn't move or talk. It will sit there for hours and won't want to get up if you keep messing up. You should get one of these. Nice, soft hair, easy to work with.

I bought this in fall and saved for a Christmas present. My daughter loved it as she's learning to do hair. We had the head attached ti the table and my daughter was brushing the hair and the swivel broke! I was shocked because this is thick plastic. Super disappointed! I bought this for my daughter's birthday so she can practice different hair styles. It works for that purpose. My only complaint is that the thing stinks really, really bad! Like burnt rubber. The smell isn't as strong a month later, but it still stinks. It doesn't bother her enough to not use it but it definitely would stop me.
