While the are convenient as far as functionality I’m not sure how strong there will be, they are probably ok, but I would have liked to see a bit thicker metal, and I would suggest NOT using the included hardware, they are not self tapping, and I tied 2, even predrilled the wholes into aluminum and both snapped with little effort, so I had to drill them out since they bused off and ended up using bolts. I’d give it 3.5 stars but since it’s not an option I rounded up to 4….. ... show more

Excellent stands. Well made and versatile. I would easily recommend this. I welded the brackets to the bottom of the trailer. The screws are ok but for a solid attachment, welding is my choice.

Solidly built with good functionality. Keeper pins are of good quality. The bolts that come are basically just lag screws not adequate for any material other than aluminum or wood mounting. I bought quality bolts to mount to steel frame on my single axle ATV trailer and that worked great.

I put these telescoping stabilizer jacks on my fold-up Harbor Freight trailer, and they are perfect for what I needed. Before installing them, if I stepped on the back of the trailer while it was not hooked up to my truck, the front end would lift up unless I had weight up by the tongue. Now I can load and unload the trailer while it is just sitting in my driveway without it tipping up. Installation was pretty easy. My trailer already had one mounting hole available, but I did have to drill a second hole on each side to get them mounted correctly. The kit does come with hardware, but the included screws were more like wood-style screws, not bolts with nuts. I ended up buying different hardware so I could bolt them on more securely. Once installed, they work great. I lower the front jack, drop these rear stabilizers down and lock them into place, then jack the front back up a little. That makes the trailer feel solid with very little movement. Pros: - Keeps the trailer from tipping up when loading from the back - Easy to drop down and lock into place - Pretty easy to install - Comes with hardware - Makes the trailer much more stable - Good value for the price Cons: - I had to drill extra holes for my trailer - Included hardware was not the style I wanted, so I bought different bolts and nuts Overall, this is a great set of stabilizer jacks. They solved the exact problem I had and made my trailer much easier and safer to use while parked. ... show more
