    • Doesn’t work. Feels like a thermal resistor.
Doesn’t heat up easily. Feels like a rock that takes forever to heat up but then acts like aluminum foil when you put meat on it, cools down so quickly. Not sure what this is, but it definitely doesn’t work. It doesn’t sear meat or veggies, doesn’t even leave a mark on anything! Returning this junk.

I am still deciding if I am going to return this or use it as is. I got it for my Traeger Ranger but it is larger than the grill. It will be impossible to close the grill with this on. It is heavy and looks like it might do well for searing. I just don’t want to use it if I am going to return it.

The sear marks add to the appearance of the meat and the meat seems to cook faster as the grate gets extremely hot. With the addition of a little olive oil on the grate, it really really sizzles. The grate is a little cumbersome to clean, as it is hard to get between the grates, but with a little effort it can be accomplished. ... show more
