Wonderful product; great addition to the grill. The “Tips” sheet included as “instructions” is useless. Searched Traeger App and site for installation instructions to no avail. Called Traeger support and was sent a link to the instructions. Once you see the pic it’s easy. Works perfectly!

Fits nicely thr only bad thing about it is that it sits even with the grill surface which is fine other than the hood handle interferes with anything left on the tray when closing the lid.

After installing this on my new Ironwood smoker, I can’t imagine using the grill without it. It installs reasonably easy and is very robust. It unfolds and folds easily and makes grilling more convenient. It is very expensive but it is a must-have accessory.

I ordered this accessory shelf shortly after purchasing my new Traeger Ironwood pellet smoker. After first use, I realized the smoker really needed a front shelf in addition to the large side shelf already provided. While smaller than the one I had on my older Traeger Pro 34, it is still very useful. I’d prefer the shelf to be a couple of inches wider and longer but this one works. It really should be included with the grill, but alas it is not. It works as intended, it’s a bit pricey for a shelving unit however I use it every cook so it is worth it in the end. It’s built well and very strong. The only annoying part (at least on my ironwood xl) is that the grill handle come every close to the shelf and if you have something on the shelf it will not close fully. ... show more
