I absolutely love the Tractive Pet Tracker! One of my favorite features is the leaderboard — it’s such a fun way to stay motivated and keep my dog active. I can easily track his activity levels, rest time, and overall fitness, giving me real peace of mind. The GPS was extremely accurate and updated in real-time, which made a stressful situation so much easier to handle. I also got the base station to help extend the battery life even further. It has a customizable range and works much better than just using WiFi alone. You just need a plug, and when setting it up, you can select it as a network for the safe zone. It's super easy to set up, and I love that it covers a much larger area than my regular WiFi. Thanks to the base station, the battery life is even better and gives me more flexibility when my dog is around the house or yard. Between the reliable tracking, health insights, long battery life, easy-to-use base station, and subtle design, Tractive has been one of the best purchases I’ve made for my dog. I had been searching for the best GPS locater for my Baby and decided to give this a try.....so glad I did! This has performed perfectly and I can verify it is indeed waterproof. My GSD loves to swim and this locater is holding up perfectly! I have had no connectivity issues and the battery lasts longer than expected and charges quickly. I recently took a road trip with my Baby to Upper MI and we were in some remote areas but I still had plenty of charge in the battery when we got home😊. The likelihood of her running away from me is nil and she has a rocket recall but I always worry about theft. That being said, I am very pleased with this locator and this provides extra piece of mind in the event my Baby goes missing.

Have this GPS tracker for my 2 dogs dachshunds and cat! I use to have Fi but started having trouble with the base connectivity and coller I order new bases but still the problem presistis. Tried Tracative and love it! You do need to buy a membership to activate. I love how you can set virtual fences and it has a power saving zone for wifi. Good battery life in the power saving zone can last up to 1week if not concted to wifi it last about 2-3 days. I would use it more for dogs the cat one does seem kinda bulky in my opinion. Comes with health insights on your pet like activity,sleeping,barking,heart rate and breathing rate. It also has a map so you can see where your furry friends walk to on your property

Good product. Activity, heart rate, breathing rate, barking, sleep, and the light and sound functions were all bonuses. I find myself checking my dog’s activity daily. As for the reason I and many people bought this- for dogs who can wander away- there could be improvements. It stays connected to the house for too long, likely checking less often in the “power saving zone” than when outside, not letting me know for 5+ minutes that my dog is out of the zone. It won’t let me live track inside of the safe zone. Also, the sound is ridiculously unhelpful, being both too quiet and friendly. If it was louder it could help find a dog, if it was less friendly it could be used as a return call instead. Otherwise a great device and would still recommend but hope they tweak the things I mentioned.

If I could give this thing zero stars I would. The pros: the tracker looks nice and the attachment mechanism that attaches the tracker to a pets collar works very good. The cons: They advertise that a subscription comes with the purchase of the tracker, however when you’re trying to actually enable it during setup they dupe you into another subscription. It’s confusing. That’s only the start, this thing actually DOES NOT WORK! It’s also very clunky to setup no go zones and battery saver areas. But the absolute kicker is when you test it out and it just doesn’t work as advertised. Then you get to try and work through customer service to deal with the issues and of course they DO NOT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER. It’s all automated menus which aren’t properly designed to address you issues. Whole thing looks like either a low budget operation or a scam. Either way, don’t waste your time.

Took a chance on this gps tracker for our very active farm dog who loves to wander sometimes and it is 100% worth it. I live in the middle of nowhere North Dakota and I never have to worry about where my dog is. I love that I can set up a virtual safe zone fence and it lets me know EXACTLY when she leaves and re-enters the safe zone. The live tracking is also very spot on and to the minute if I want to live track her where abouts. The battery life lasts us a few days before we have to recharge which is great. We haven’t had any issue with GPS signal either. It is a nice looking device with a ton of great features, would recommend to anyone!!!
