Perfect Phone for someone starting out with technology
Style: Wireless Device
This little flip phone is great for the price. It's a great starter phone for people who aren't that tech savvy. As soon you take it out the box charge it because it was completely dead and wouldn't turn on at first. The only issue is the keyboard. It's the T9 style of texting and you have to have patience. I'll purchase again for a quick on the go phone. ... show more

Works for your flip phone needs
Style: Wireless Device
Had this for about a month. Great flip phone, works well for texting and calling. Camera is surprisingly great, about the quality of the iPhone 4/5. You can text an email address a photo and it will actually send through email (much better than setting up email in the "email" app). Google maps is functional and is convenient in dire circumstances. I chose the unlimited talk and text plan, and after auto-refilling, it came out to only $15 a month. One problem: It seems others have had this issue—occasionally the screen will go to static or black and everything will crash. Sometimes the phone resets itself, but usually the only fix is to remove the battery, put it back in again, and turn on the phone. This is my go-to way to hard-reset the phone. It happens about once a week or so. After only ever owning a smartphone, this was a great change. I find myself reading more and spending less time online. Occasionally, people make fun of me, but owning this phone has made me more present in reality. ... show more

Phone DIED After One Day!
Style: Wireless Device

I purchased this phone for my son because he had just started school and was walking home. The phone died after one. The screen went black and it does not ring when you call it. Very disappointed and it defeats the purpose.

Phone charger stopped working in less than 1 week.

Phone charger stopped working in less than 1 week. Do not buy unless you are ready to buy a different charger.

Great phone, gets the job done

This is a great basic phone for anyone looking to unplug from a smartphone. It has T9 capabilities, but you have to change that in settings first, as it is set to predictive text straight out of the box. It comes with google maps and an appstore (albeit limited, but there are some great apps on there like a podcast player and a pdf viewer that work just fine!). There is no whatsapp on this phone, although the Nokia 6300 has it. It connects to wifi just fine, and the internet browser works great as well. It's sort of slow, so it keeps you from wasting time on frivolous doom scrolling. Youtube is available as well, and it plays videos quite decently. It has both a headphone jack and bluetooth capabilities. I don't think it has a hotspot though, but I haven't set up my mobile service so I can't comment on that. I can't comment on the battery life yet either, as I've only had it for about a day. You can easily load music, video, and document files onto it by connecting it to your computer. All in all, it's a pretty solid phone for those who don't want to use a smartphone, but also need to be able to use internet functions when they are out and about. I'd recommend this to parents who need their children to have a phone, but don't want to give them a smartphone. ... show more

Perfect for our young son
Style: Wireless Device
We don’t want our kids to have smartphones at a young age. Our son is 14 and he goes around the neighborhood mowing grass and making money. With this phone, he can keep in touch with us and also his customers without tying up my phone. There’s very little data, we only got it so he can call and text. It actually has a great amount of storage for such a basic phone. He takes pictures and videos all the time. ... show more
