I wanted to like this, but it's bad. It's chalky and leaves a dry film in your mouth. It was hard to get this down. I've tried and used a lot of protein shakes and this is not it. Walk on by and pick a different one.

The first bag was great. The powder was white, soft and smelled as yummy as it tasted. The 2nd one is the color of sand, is gritty and doesn’t smell sweet at all. There was a fish like smell when I first opened it. I only use one scoop (along with another chocolate protein powder) in a smoothie bowl. Even with that, the taste is off like they forgot to add the Vanilla powder to this batch. I am not sure what’s going on with the ingredients. I added this to subscribe/save after the first bag but now I am considering canceling as I am not so sure I want to take a chance the 3rd order is like or possibly worse than the 2nd. I had switched to this brand from another (with the same exact ingredients) because it is half the price but at least the other was consistently good with “organic” next to EACH ingredient…not simply on the front of the bag. C’mon TOZZY, please raise your standards and bring back quality ingredients. Edit: I forgot to cancel the subscribe and save. This batch is the same as the second. I am not even sure the ingredients are Organic as I now realize it is a simple sticker. I have not ever seen this on a product other than produce. I will go back to my original powder that actually lists Organic by EACH ingredient (exact same as Tozzy) and the Organic label is not a sticker. This company is sketch. Where’s the integrity and humanity? 2nd Edit: I contacted Tozzy directly with my concerns. In case others are curious, here is their reply: “We also truly understand your concern about wanting a product that is genuinely organic, clean, and healthy—especially as someone who values quality proteins and follows a vegetarian lifestyle. That trust means everything to us, and we never take it lightly. We also sincerely appreciate you pointing out your concerns regarding how “organic” is shown in our advertising compared to the packaging itself. We completely understand why that would feel confusing and frustrating, and we apologize for that. To clarify, our goal has never been to mislead our customers. The ingredients we source are selected with the same clean and high-quality standards we stand behind, but we understand that if the packaging does not clearly reflect that, it creates understandable concern. We are actively reviewing and improving our packaging and product presentation to ensure better clarity, consistency, and transparency moving forward. Our intention with adjusting the recipe was simply to create a cleaner, healthier version of our protein powder for our customers. However, after hearing feedback from valued customers like you, we realized that many people strongly preferred the original recipe for its taste, texture, and overall quality they had come to trust. Your message really means a lot to us because it reminds us how important transparency and consistency are. Because of this feedback, we have decided to return to our previous recipe, which will be available on Amazon again very soon.” Perhaps they will at least find a happy medium between the 2 formulas/recipes as it seems some like the new one. I am increasing my rating from 1 star to 3 as while I greatly appreciate the communication, they did not ever state they use Organic ingredients. I will come back to edit (yet again) if the formula changes once more. ... show more

    • Not as expected
Flavor Name: Vanilla Size: 1 Pound (Pack of 1)
Protein powders are expensive, I always do a lot of research on products before buying. This is cost effective but…..it’s hard to get it dissolved and I use a bullet blender so it was gritty. I love the vanilla flavor but the flavor was off on this one.

    • Almost perfect
Flavor Name: Vanilla Size: 1 Pound (Pack of 1)
This barely tastes like anything. It's not bad, but the flavor is so subtle and would probably be best added to something versus enjoyed plain. Solid ingredients and price point, dissolves well, and doesn't make me gag, which is saying something for plant protein, but the vanilla flavor needs to be increased for sure. ... show more
