Cute toy. However, even though the measurements were accurately shown, it feels a lot smaller than I imagined, and what I feel is depicted in the photo. I would say this toy is a little small for even a 3 year old. Definitely too small for 4 and up, even though states through ages 6. Bought as a gift for my Goddaughter who at the time was 1 and a half. At almost 2 years old, I’m afraid it still might be too small. And now I feel I have to upgrade to something better. This would be okay for a starter toy piano, for a child small enough that can just hold themselves up on their own, or even a baby while being held. It is answered in the Q&A, but does not specify in the description that the small black keys actually don’t work, and that’s a little disappointing. Sound quality is just okay-ish, with a little static. Also the Microphone works (sound is weak), but there does not seem to be an actual function to record and play back your own songs as stated in the description. That function was part of the reason why I chose to purchase this item. Every time you turn on the piano it sounds the alert music at its highest volume which is a little startling, and you have to lower the volume each time. Would be better starting out at a lower volume with ability to raise to desired level. Description says it takes 4 batteries, but it actually takes 3. No issue there, but the batteries drained super fast even while not being used. Seems to be too much a pain to unscrew the tiny screw to remove the batteries each time it’s done being played with. I would strongly recommend taking a measuring tape before purchasing so you can understand its size. When you do receive it, take it out of the box and assemble it before gifting, to see if this is right for you. If I had time, and it wasn’t past the return date, I would have likely returned it. For the quality I would say I feel I overpaid even at $20. I think it’s worth $10 to absolutely no more than $15... probably could find something like this in a 5 Below. ... show more

I'll be honest, I was leery when I ordered this, afraid it would be cheaply made. However, I was very pleasantly surprised and so was my 4 year old granddaughter! It's much sturdier than I was expecting. It was very nice quality, with a clear and strong sound, and it was very pretty. I guess I did not realize how annoying this item would be. Also the midi music is a bit much. The "features" on this item are simplistic and the microphone is the absolute worst thing to happen to children's toys. A 100% regrettable decision. Its as if I had no idea what it is like to be a parent and purchased this item thinking it could be used for good. I was wrong. Buy at your own risk. The product works well, it works annoyingly well. There is volume control on this product, which is great. However, the battery access should be just a bit easier so I can change my mind on sound at all after this purchasing decision. I was so excited to give this as a gift to my little one. However I’m constantly having to replace the plastic legs on the bottom. Any sort of pressure makes them fall out! You also have to get super close to the microphone for it to even pick up your voice. Talk about germ central! I was also really disappointed in the fact that the black keys don't actually make any sound. They can be pressed, but don’t actually play notes. I just feel this could be better. ... show more
