We have hard stone flooring in our kitchen. While it is beautiful, it is hard on the feet and legs. We placed this in front of our sink - what a difference! My fiancé actually keeps going over and standing on it just because it feels so nice. The 18 x 39 size is the perfect length for in front of our double sink. I would recommend measuring your area before purchase to make sure you have the correct size. The colors are a bit more muted than I was expecting. I love that the mat is made out of PVC - it is so easy to wipe down and keep clean in the kitchen area. The day after I placed it on the floor, I dropped an egg. What a mess that would have been if I had a carpeted rug there! With this, clean up was a breeze! The rug comes very tightly rolled up. We rolled it out in the opposite direction to encourage it to lay flat. Within a few hours, it was laying perfectly flat. If you're on the fence on this one - I would highly recommend purchasing.

I am suddenly on a puzzle kick and wanted a fatigue mat to stand on that would fit under the island I use. This works perfectly for that. I wasn’t particular about what it might look like, but this one is pretty with its muted purplish/grayish colors. I really like the length because I can move around and it’s still comfortable, plus it fits under the island like it was made for that spot. Is it the thickest? No, but it doesn’t claim to be and I’m not standing on it for hours at a time, so it works fine for me. Like all mats, it’s rolled up and needs to lay flat a day or so, then it’s fine. I’m very happy with this mat and would order it again.

About the same as any other foam mat to stand on in that it is more comfortable on your feet than the plain tile. I like that it looks like a fabric mat and does a good job of staying in place. It is more narrow than I expected which annoyed me at first but has grown on me. I like that is is out of the way and less likely to be kicked out by someone walking by. My only real complaint is that the packaging to keep it rolled up poked holes through the mat and cinched it down in a way that even after a week there are noticeable divots in the mat where the small holes are. Pro: Functional, affordable, looks decent Cons: Bit narrow and some blemishes from packaging

I wanted this to be way thicker than it actually is. It also came tightly rolled up in a box, which meant that unrolling it and trying to get it to lay flat was a chore. I'm going to give it a few more days to relax, and if things improve, I'll certainly update my review. Sometimes these floor mats need a bit of time to perk up fully. I worked as a chef in a kitchen for like 7 years. All work stations had heavy duty anti fatigue mats, because you didn't want people to mess up their knees or their backs from the hours of standing and moving around that you'd have to do to make sure food was sent out on time. I would rate those like a 10 out of 10. I've got some cloth rugs in the bathroom that are nice to keep my feet warm, but aren't necessarily going to help me reduce fatigue and foot/knee pain by standing on them instead of the floor. In terms of usefulness for anti fatigue/pain, I'd rate my bathroom rugs a 3 out of 10. It can help, but it's not designed for that. For this floor mat's comfort rating, I'll give it a 6.5 out of 10. It's above average, but only just. It's also awfully small looking in my kitchen. If you have like a galley kitchen or a very small cooking space, this might be right for you, but also bear in mind that it's not doing you any great favors in reducing your fatigue.

I got the blue of this mat, and it looks more grey than blue, but other than that, it provides a nice cushion for your feet when standing in the kitchen. It is 18x39, which I know it says, but I didn't realize what that actually looks like. It's a skinny rectangle - the width is more than double the size of the length. It looks very skinny when on the floor, just keep that in mind. There is a rubber bottom, so it doesn't slide around. The top, according to the packaging is 100% PVC top/pvc foam backing. Not sure exactly what that means, but it is smooth and feels like it can easily be wiped down if it got wet or got something on it. The directions say to clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent, air dry. Makes sense and it was easy to wipe off with a paper towel when I splattered water on it. Overall, a great addition to the kitchen!

I didn't have high expectations for this mat. But I was pleasantly surprised. First off, it's easy to clean. The surface is very water resistant, which I discovered when someone dropped an ice cube and it was melting into a puddle on the surface but not soaking in. Second, the thickness is just right to take the edge off when standing doing dishes for a long period of time. Third, the pattern is neutral but still adds a little interest to our kitchen. The mat might be too small in a gigantic open concept kitchen but the bigger size works great in our long and narrow kitchen layout.

This isn’t the most gorgeous comfort mat there is, but it does have great cushion to help your feet and back. It’s a good size and lays in place quite well. It’s super easy to clean too. Not a lot more to say other than it serves its purpose and does it well.

This review is for TOWN & COUNTRY BASICS Comfort Plus Windowpane Plaid Anti Fatigue Comfort Mat. I ordered the beige plaid mat and I'm very happy. It looks just like the photo and is exactly as described. Just the right thickness to be truly anti-fatigue and keep my back and feet so happy in the kitchen! The quality is good, no rips or tears and it grips the floor exactly as I'd want from a kitchen mat. It arrived rolled but not compressed, the slightly curled edges smoothed out within a minute and it was ready to go. The dimension are exactly as described and I love this length because so many mats are 6' long but that's just a smidge too long for my kitchen, 55" is perfect so I can walk back and forth from my sink to counter in comfort.
