Going to a country music festival and it’s going to be hot and possibly humid and needed a hat to tame what is sure to be a cotton candy like mess that will appear on my head. I liked how small and ventilated this one looked but didn’t think I was a cowgirl hat type (I’m a big city girl). Was pleasantly surprised the hat arrived perfectly intact and not smushed at all. The elastic band is snug but comfortable and provides some wicking properties. I wasn’t completely thrilled with the shape when I put it on so was thinking I might return, but then noticed reviews saying the hat was bendable. I was nervous to try as I didn’t want to ruin an otherwise perfect hat so I tried just a bit in an area that wasn’t too noticeable and to my surprise and delight it worked! I have now adjusted the small things I didn’t like and it is perfect and I don’t want to take it off. The hat is very western. And the quality is great, but it does not fit a regular size head. The hot fit is very small and for most people it will just lay on the top of your head, which is not too flattering. But again, the hat is very durable and is a great quality.
