Husband wore this for the first time now that it has gotten cold and he wanted to still take out his car (with no roof) it was comfortable, fit his large head well and kept him warm while he was cruising. The color is exactly as pictured and it is good quality, thickness is good. I'm not normally a hat guy, but this has been a tough winter in the Northeastern US. This hat has done a great job of keeping my head warm in windy, snowy and blizzard conditions. It's got a thicker lining towards the bottom to protect the ears, which is very comfortable. While the hat isn't technically waterproof, I was able to wear it out for about 30 minutes in active snow and sleet without my head getting wet. I have somewhat of an oval head shape and it fits snugly and comfortably. I'm just not sure how well this would fit for someone with a particularly large/wide head, so keep that in mind if that's you. The price is very reasonable, so I'm not sure how durable it'll be long term, but at this price you can afford to buy extras. I'm ordering a few extra hats myself in different colors to keep around. ... show more
