I went with this design over the double ones because I wanted just one large compartment for like Tupperware dishes of food and tall water bottles. Compartments limit the size of your dishes. I love this cooler. For the pool it’s a little bigger than I probably needed. So many other coolers were over $40. This one is perfect. So handy when carrying pool bag to just sling this on back and have a hand free. I ordered the four pack of tourit ice packs. They’re long and slender so more streamline to pack. No leaks and keeps everything cold. And what a value! Addition - Was at the pool Saturday for 8 hours. I don’t regret buying this cooler but sadly things weren’t cold when I got back home. After maybe 6 hours I’d say things were cool at best. So maybe for an all day event not the coldest cooler. But definitely for a few hours park or pool trip it’s great. We used this for the beach from 10am- 4pm and it kept our drinks cold the whole day. I love the pouch on top for our wallets and phones. The side pouches were perfect for sunscreen. We were able to fit 6 water bottles and 8 beers with the freezer packs and we had room for a more drinks if we wanted. The straps are padded and made it comfortable to wear on your back. I guess it's technically leak proof from the bottom but obviously the zipper area is not leak proof since it's an exposed zipper. Accidentally spilled the melted ice out when the backpack tipped. If you have ice in there and you bend over from the waist be careful of the cold water that will leak onto your neck and head! It's not as sturdy as it should be for being capable of carrying 36 cans. After putting about 10 cans in it, the sides start to collapse in. Worked better for keeping lunch cool than trying to keep drinks cold. Made due with it but in the future I need to invest in a better backpack cooler ... show more

I don’t think I fully understood the depth of what I signed up for when purchasing this but the weight of 36 cans on your shoulders will humble you very fast. Idc how big or strong you think you are, do not add ice unless you want to come out on the other side w a bionic shoulder. Keeps the cans super cold tho, and the more you drink the lighter your load becomes! ... show more

I love a backpack cooler that I can take a long to the beach or long hikes. I had one before thats a different brand but after years of use, it's finally time to get a new one. Im glad I found this one! Love the color as you dont have to worry about it looking dirty. And you can easily wipe it! Love the different pockets and compartments too! Mainly use this to go to the beach as it is easier to carry as a backpack when you're carrying other beach gears. It hasn't leaked (so far) and it has kept .y food and drinks cold. I purchase this bag for a 3 day beach trip with friends. Inside is enough space for 4 adults needs for a beach day. 8 water bottles, beer six pack, 4 beer bottles, and 4 lunch wraps with chips. I tried the blocks of gel for cooling, but gain heat to quick, the bag has little insulation, freeze water bottles are better yo keep Everything chill and after a day you have cool water to drink. Also you have no mesh pockets and one zipper pocket at top for keys, camera, lotion etc. The only thing I will redesign are the straps, need more cushion and a front clip connector. ... show more
