This cooler is slightly smaller than I expected, but I still like it. It seems well made, and the insulation is not too thin. There are also a couple small pockets. I think a backpack cooler is a good option for going to the beach. I would prefer to carry a heavier load on my back, and carry a chair over my shoulder, then the other way around. Overall, I think this is a good option, for traveling, plus you can leave it in your trunk as a cooler for grocery store trips. ... show more

This backpack cooler is perfect for family outings or long hikes. It features a large main compartment for storing drinks, snacks, etc. The cooler also features a smaller zippered compartment above the main compartment as well as another zippered compartment on the front of the cooler and bottle holders on each side of the cooler. The front compartment has a few pockets for holding miscellaneous items and the side water bottle pockets have slits that allow you to see the container inside the pocket. This might be handy if the water bottle is transparent enough to see the level of the fluid inside the bottle. The cooler also features a metal bottle opener secured to the front of the cooler. Overall, this seems like a great cooler that offers a large enough capacity to hold drinks for several people or a couple of meals and drinks for a single person or a couple on an extended outing. ... show more

I own a Yeti cooler backpack, but I wanted something smaller. The Yeti is big, but heavy, and especially heavy when loaded. This TOURIT Backpack Cooler is smaller, meaning I'm carrying less, but it still works just as well! I still put ice into bags in a backpack cooler because I don't want to have a surprise one day and have a cold drip hitting my back or legs while wearing it. The claim is it is waterproof and it does hold water well, but I didn't test it over a long period of time. The should straps are comfortable under weight. I do wish it had one of those chest or waist clips, as those are handy when you're carrying more weight. This cooler backpack is perfect for picnics or if you're headed to a BBQ/party and bringing drinks or food to contribute. The zippered compartment on top is handy for items you need to bring, but don't need to cool. Same for the zippered pouch on front and the bungeed area on front. The clip-point is a great place to hang a water bottle or a bottle opener. ... show more

This one is pretty thick, and the backpack isn't very heavy until you start adding your items. It comes with a handy bottle open and 3 pockets 1 on each side and 1 in the front to carry additional items you don't want kept cold. Its comfortable to wear and does the job it's made for.
