I've been using these knock off corner bars for several months now, and I like them more than I expected. I actually moved them from one bike to another that was a bit of a better fit for me. Like others have mentioned there is a bit of a difference from one side to the other, but it isn't noticeable in normal riding. And after tryng different lever combinations with these, I've found that Deore LX integrated levers work really well on these if you mount them below the tops. I will say, the reports of these breaking have concerned me a little, so it's always sort of in the back of my mind, but I haven't experienced any trouble with mine so far. I think because of this I'll either eventually get the name brand bars or try a more traditional drop bar (although that's a much more expensive conversion). So yeah, if you're looking to try out Surly Corner Bars or do an inexpensive drop-ish bar conversion to a flat bar MTB, I think these are worth trying, but maybe keep in mind that these are probably just a stepping stone to something else (name brand or whatever).

I bought these on a whim. I'd seen a great number of corner bar reviews but could find any narrow enough for my shoulders. These fit the bill. I was able to fit all my flat bar goodies on there, wrap up the bars with some sweet bar tape and get to riding. Thanks to these I fell in love with drops. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I've been a flat bar mountain biker my whole life, until now. I decided I wanted to do some touring, that led me down the rabbit hole of exploring different bar types. I landed here and I'm now a drop bar convert. The good thing is that these bars are affordable, made of aluminum and trim easily. Luckily, these exist because converting all my flat bar mountain bike stuff to drops would be ... extreme. Anyway, these are great for me, narrow enough in the drop position that I'm way more comfortable than I expected but also wide enough to give me that control I'm used to from flat bars. Awesome. I'm looking at another pair for my "around town" bike.

Love these bars. I have them on the mountain bike I converted to a gravel bike. I also put them on the bike I converted for my wife. Offers different hand positions over regular MTN bike bars on longer rides. You can still use MTB shifters and brakes with these bars unlike going with drop bars where you also have to change shifters and components. Don't do any terrain that's crazy but theyve seen some pretty rocky, trails a lot of folk would consider more MTN bike trails. They've held up fine. I love the different hand positions they offer

I have fractures in the metacarpals of both hands and in my left collarbone, which is why I can't use normal MTB handlebars. I tried Ergon grips and they didn't work; my hands still went numb. With these new handlebars, it's different. I highly recommend double taping the top and drop sections and using mini grips (buy extenders, you'll need them). Use ESI grips for 100% comfort, and the best part is the rugged, tough look.

I installed it on a cheap mountain bike that I was given. I’m turning it into a hybrid/frankenstein gravel rig, and it worked out well so far. I like being able to have a faux drop-bar setup without having to upgrade the shifters & brake handles. I have two recommendations for any of yall trying out the setup: install a set of handlebar extensions on the tops, to give more space for your hands, and install a set of cheap ergonomic grips on the lowers

Obviously the knock off of the surly corner bar. The measurements are close enough to what is advertised. Within a MM or two. However the flare on the drops aren’t symmetric. I’m going to run them for a few weeks and see if I care. Hell of a lot better than spending 3x the amount on surly’s bars. But again..clearly thrown together without much care. Very lightweight as it’s aluminum.
