As other have mentioned, the "hoods" are a bit short. I ended up buying handlebar extenders that fit right in and gave more room. These bars look very nice and feel sturdy. At first they were a little bit uncomfortable but that might be because I have big hands; now I have gotten used to them and they work great. These bars need longer cables so I had to put in new housing and cables for shifters and brakes. I use these almost daily and I have not had any issues at all. Great quality overall. ... show more

I put these on an old Kona cross bike hat I'm using as a commuter. Nice bar! I'm using MTB brake levers and a MTB shifter, the only issue I've found is the internal diameter of the bars doesn't work with the end caps that came with my bar tape. Got these to see if I like them on my Surly,and they are obviously a ripoff of the real Surly drop bars.But Immediately when I got them in the mail,I noticed that both bars did not line up and are completely out of whack.Diehard cyclists cannot tolerate this.I donated it to a thrift shop brand new.Never again from Amazon.Dont get these. ... show more
