Description

Extra long with durable cotton webbing, these lines feature a sure grip handhold and rugged reinforced snap ends. They are partially rounded to allow easy use of the surcingle. Lines measure 24' total length with the first 4' on each side rounded so they will work with an overcheck bridle and the last 4' with leather ends for better grip and control. Comes with a metal buckles in the middle so that they can be used as either a continuous or a split rein. Excellent for teaching a young horse to drive. Color: Tan

I definitely should have read the description before purchasing as these are not horse size. They are very nice and work well, but only if you have a pony or mini. My horse isn't even large, about 15h and I was only a few feet away from him using these, there was no way I could have him circle around me at all. ... show more

My driving reins arrived and they are green, not beige. That was ok but the buckle keeping them in a loop was too big to fit through the drive training girth. I had to cut it off to fit each twin through the metal loops on the girth. They aren’t super long but work for minis.

I needed lines for working with ground driving in young horses. What I dislike, is they are really stiff & bulky in my hands. But, it's a trade off, they may hold up better, when using them for ground driving, as doing that, they can get drug on the ground a bit more, than driving lines in a cart. I've only just started using them, so time will tell how they hold up, as I get several young minis & a pony on ground work. ... show more

The advertising is a bit misleading. They are too short for a normal-sized horse, unless you want to get kicked in the mouth. They are only 12 ft each.

    • Great for long lines!
These are nice, basic web driving reins. I actually use them a lot for in hand work and teaching long lining. They are a nice, shorter length which makes them super easy to use as long lines. They have held up really well- pretty indestructible.
