So I accidentally drove into the corner of my brick house when trying to turn into the garage and having to sand/spray on a bmw isn’t something I looked forward to. I obviously wanted the paint to be as close to OEM as possible and I saw some mixed reviews for this paint. As BMW recommends shaking their touch-up paint for 5 minutes that’s what I did after sanding, filling, and priming the area. I used the paper thing they give you to test the paint and it looked as close to OEM black sapphire as I’ve seen in a spray. Also, the spray ended up looking great on my car as you can see in the pic (I recommend doing some quick YouTube searches on how to properly spray the paint on your car so you don’t leave streaks). The pic was taken right after the last spray of clear so you can still see some wet spots as it wasn’t fully dry. Also worth noting is black sapphire paint is pretty good at hiding any defects as it’s black and has small metallic particles so I can’t speak to how other colors may look. If you zoom into the middle of the pic you can still see some texture spots from where the main part of the indention was - but hey, I’m not a professional and you can’t notice it unless you know where to look. I didn’t end up using the clear coat that was provided based on some of the reviews. I ended up going with Rust-oleum automotive enamel gloss clear instead. But either way, the paint looked so good that I still gave it 5 stars.

Between the two pieces of tape are two sections of paint. One of the question marks points to the section that has the car's original paint. The other question mark points to the section that I have just painted with the stuff I got from Touch Up Direct. Can you tell which is which? I can't. I bought the Alpine White III paint to touch up my BMW. The paint that initially arrived was a much whiter white than my car. I was ready to return it, but the Amazon website suggested contacting the seller. Nothing to lose, I figured, so I reached out. The seller walked me through their process of comparing the paint in the can to the paint on my car. About a week or so later, a new can arrived and it matched perfectly, and I do mean PERFECTLY! You can see the results in the photo. This is one happy customer.

The products color match is very good for my BMW 640i. Unfortunately, I hung onto the paint over 30 days before I could use it or I'd return it for an exchange. After two good coats the can decided to start leaking non-stop when I tried to apply the 3rd coat. It sputtered and spit to the point its useless. A complete waste of money. Update! I decided to contact the vendor and they're sending me a new color coat spray can. Awesome Customer Service!

The color is ok but no matter how well you shake the can before you apply , the nozzle cloggs slightly and frequently causing excess metallic or light metallic spots .. which is very noticeable and looks like absolute garbage. I’m not painting an entire car here or the Mona Lisa but come on . Now I need to buy another can of touch up paint to use on my touch up .. and hope I can salvage this simple job , turned preschool art class Worst paint I have ever used . Stay far away from this stuff

Bought the spray can color coat and clear coat. Color coat can is unusable to get nice even coats. When the spray nozzle is depressed, paint comes out of nozzle in large drops along with a fine spray. Cannot achieve even coverage. This isn’t the worst part. Paint also comes out of the can around the nozzle, sending blobs of paint everywhere. Complete waste of paint. Contacted customer service, and they promptly sent me a new nozzle. Sadly the new nozzle did the same thing. The spray on the clear coat can works perfectly. Not sure what the issue is with the color coat. Update! Contacted seller by email and they sent me a brand new can of the color coat. New can sprays fine. Added two stars for good customer service.

I bought the A08 Silberglau Metallic for my 2007 530i. Spraying the test card suggested it was going to be a perfect match, but when I actually applied it, it was much darker. I was attempting to patch a large scuff on the lower vertical portion of my bumper (not sunfaded) so the formulation is just wrong for this model year range/color combo. The paint itself lays down easily and responded well to wet sanding and polishing, sucks about the color itself.

I thought I received a bad can. Can sputtered and spit debris and chunks everywhere. Touchup direct sent a replacement ground. In the meantime I ordered an expedited complete kit to finish the project. All three cans sprayed like garbage. The finish was embarassing. I've never seen a spray paint come out like this. One defective can? Sure. Three cans and one unhappy customer. I've shot a decent amount of paint on cars, motorcycles, and other projects. Perhaps other formulations/colors work better but BMW Apline White was a waste of two weekends and a significant amount of prep. Paint was applied at 66F 50% humidity in an insulated shop. No wind or dust present
