Item arrived on item. excellent packaging. Hooking up the equipment was easy. However the driver in the CD provided does not work well with Windows 8 or 8.1. Called the manufacturer (AngelPOS Canada) helpdesk. Disappointing support from the manufacturer. Directed me to a link which I had already visited and downloaded the latest driver, which again did not work with Win 8. Finally loaded the Win 7 driver (provided in the CD) with Win 8 OS and it installed the setup perfectly. After that the Touch Screen worked perfectly. Would have given a 5 star had the Win 8 driver done its job. Nonetheless good value for money. ... show more

    • It was easy to install
The product was received quickly. It was easy to install. There was no issues with the drivers. Thank god. However the length of the cord that connect to the desktop is very short and the picture quality is very low. It works though so i can't complain. :)

    • First was defective, second was innacurate
The first item I received lacked the metal collars in the mounting screws. As a result, it would not mount. After returning that one to Amazon and getting a replacement, I ran into the bigger issues. The touch screen was not accurate. Often , even using the included stylyus, inputs would register 5-10% of the screen away from where I touched. It did come with a very clunky program to try to calibrate it, which might have worked if the calibration program worked; instead most of the calibration window was offscreen and could not be moved. That right there would've been enough to render the product pointless to me, but even as a monitor the product had green scan lines which wouldn't go away. Finally, when I contacted their customer service, it took them about a week to get back to me initially, in which they asked for more information. I provided it, only to have them insist that this monitor was not their product. Either the customer service team was badly mistaken, or else this seller included 3rd party software and passes it off as their own. Either way, avoid this product. ... show more

    • Solution to a serious problem at our house.
We are using this unit with a personal computer running Windows XP. It is a workhorse! It is understandable why it is still in use at so many commercial point-of-sale applications. Wife has a severe non-essential tremor and can no longer use a mouse with either hand. This unit solved her problem and she has already logged many hours on the unit with no difficulty. This base is very annoying to install. You have to pull back the black plastic cover, find the holes that line up, put the larger screws in there. Then the small screws are to tighten the black cover over the silver mount. There were also no instructions on the base installation; just the setup of the monitor itself. ... show more

I bought this touch screen monitor based mostly on price (I could afford it) just so I could get some experience with a touch screen monitor on my desktop. The monitor's resolution is really not adequate for Win7/Win8...that's not what it is designed for. To be fair, it is an excellent touch screen monitor for Win XP (which is the O/S still used by a lot of POS equipment). ... show more

Everything about the monitor was exactly what I was looking for. However, these monitors do not run with the new Mac OS-X 10.8. Tech support suggested a few things to try but they are not compatible with 10.8. We tried them on 10.6 and they worked great. I ultimately returned them.
