This is a decent option for a travel tote, but I have a dozen luxury bags and if I’m going to buy a bag under $50 there are several features that are required. And if I were to use this bag repeatedly over the summer, I’m sure it wouldn’t hold up. What I like: 1. The nylon is good quality and would be easy to clean; 2. The shape opens up and the bag is quite large. (My 16” Omni book easily fits inside, but because it’s heavy I wouldn’t use this bag to carry it.); and 3. There are two open small pockets so that my keys and cell wouldn’t get lost in the large open compartment. What I don’t like: 1. The handles and snap closure are nylon - not leather - and feel cheap; 2. The gold hardware (zipper and snap) are also low quality; 3. The snap closure is difficult to get and stay closed and once it’s closed, it’s difficult to open - pulling the nylon around it. This will eventually tear; 4. The inside pockets don’t have a zip closure or snap and considering this bag doesn’t have feet or a sturdy structure (so it can fold down for traveling), it’s going to tip over and everything will end up in the large area anyways. If you’re looking for a decent bag, there are less expensive options that are higher quality. This could be used to store winter hats and gloves in or as a diaper bag, but it still feels $5-$10 overpriced. ... show more
