I have to update my review. This thing works amazingly. I love all the features including the digital readout on the air quality monitor. Everything works great from the air output to how quiet it is to how it does automatically increase the fan speed when it detects any air quality problem. I love this, it was a great purchase. Seems to have very high quality engineering and materials, including compared to one from another brand I also tried. ‐-------- Incidentally, arrived lightning-fast in under two days, with regular shipping. Features, including timer seem to work. Reasonably quiet. I don't know how to measure its functioning as an air purifier. Recently, I have used a DIY box-fan homemade 'air purifier' with high-quality furnace filters, in a larger room - understandably, something of that size and nature made a more immediately noticeable difference in the air. But so far this seems like it has been a good purchase.

I got this for my experiment room, the experiment room smells bad because all the products that coming in and out, also the solder iron is always running, so the room gets kinda hot around this time of the year even the AC is running, so I thought about getting an air purifier, because it comes with a fan and it’s about the same price, but surprisingly it works better than I thought! As the air gets better in the room, it does feel cooler even it’s not on, and the purifier has timer, the purifier has 3 level of speed, the middle one and the last one is very quite, you can’t noticed it’s running unless you put it on high. Thought about buy more for the warehouse but this thing has a area limitation. Will recommend for small office or in the house, it’s very easy to use.

UPDATE: (5 months later) Still running great, loose piece noise is gone. I often use speed 2 at night to generate white noise, it really helps drown out my grandsons late night Xbox sessions. BUT still can't find a flippin' filter for it. Another reviewer posted that filters are available, but left no indication how to find it. Thanks? There is a slightly loose piece somewhere in it. You can hear it at all but the lowest fan speed. I like the controls, really wish it had Bluetooth or WiFi. I like the indicator light telling me how dirty the air is. However, it has remained at blue (cleanest air) always except when I sprayed some air freshener. It immediately picked up on the spray, light went to orange, and the fan speed automatically increased. When I have it on Automatic mode, I can't hear it at all (goes to the lowest fan speed).

Bought this at the end of November 2023, and have used it almost continuously since then. (This is the end of March 2024.) It worked for me from the get-go; really cleaned the air and stopped my incessant sneezing. I cleaned and repositioned the filter, turned it on, and it resumed its good work for about another month. But… I removed the filter to clean it again, but wasn’t able to. I was thoroughly disappointed that replacement filters are nowhere to be found. So, I have a nice housing for a good gadget, but it has no filter. A three-month life span is unacceptable. I’m going to contact Toshiba and see what they can do…. Will update when something is resolved.

There isn't much to say about this bad boy except for how freaking spectacular it is! I have used this every day fir the last 3 months and it has been a godsend! I've been texting and reviewing many different purifiers lately and I mist say that this one takes the cake! Yes it can be a bit expensive but they have killer deals going on all the time. I scored it for 45$ and looking to get 2 more! I augment you do to even if they're full price, most definitely worth it!

The media could not be loaded. I have 3 of these units and on all of them the UV light turns off after 30 minutes. I talked to there tech support line and they said that's how it works even though part of the sales pitch says you run it for an hour on high fan to sanitize a room. There solution is to wait 30 minutes for it to turn off and turn it back on for another 30 minutes. I don't recommend this unit.

I bought 2 of these for my house & they really do seem to work well, but I question the accuracy of their pollutants reading. One air purifier always reads about 10 ppm higher than the other, ever when right next to the other (and after switching spots). So I don't know how accurate the readings it gives are but they do seem to help with indoor air quality when we have poor air quality due to the fires in Canada currently.
