The adapter plate is of very good quality The bolt length for the engine were not long enough. The engine I have is a 196cc the block mounting is roughly an inch thick, the bolts provided were about 1-1/4" long, the wouldn't engage the threads of the rivet-nuts of the engine plate adapter. A 1-3/4 or 2" long bolt is needed to secure the engine to the plate! ... show more

Works great only down fall is the provided bolts arent long enough for mounting the engine to the riser. M8-1.25x40 bolts will need to be purchased separately to mount the engine to the riser. That is why i did not five 5 stars

I like the fact that I just mounted it right on the badass bike I got so I can throw my engine with this fatty torque converter on there so I can get back to pissing all the grannies off in the neighborhood Because I'll tearing up the cul-de-sac all day long with this beast. The torque converter on my bike provides so much power and an outrageous top speed and I couldn't amounted on my bike without raising the engine and this mounting plate lifted it the perfect amount holds it tight like a tiger and can handle all the torque that my bike can produce I hate that the grannies are all pissed off but it's totally worth it because my bikes are ripper in this plate is awesome and I'll probably buy two or three more so thanks to Amazon Granny's are getting pissed off everyday cuz I'm burning up the road in the neighborhood and I told him to get mad they could think Amazon and I would buy this again if I needed it ... show more

the welds are completely cracked through after less than a month. i have a predator 224 which does vibrate a lot but so snap a weld? i dont think so. might be fine if u only have a 196 but i will be returning it tomorrow.
