I didn’t want a “lift kit”, I wanted something to “level” my 22 Ford Ranger. I ordered these and had a shop install. Really helps the appearance. Tech said there was more to it than they thought, but they agreed it was a quality product and worth the $.

I put them on myself and had it aligned. Putting them on was a pita since the axle limited the downward travel. Dilocated the cv axle while prying the lower control arm down to get it in on one side. Easy enough to pop back in when reassembleing. The other side I cut the studs shorter and it went in easier. The alignment shop said one side won't 0 out. It's .3 out of camber and the other is at 0 but maxed out. This seems to be common from what I can figure. It drives fine though. Sits right now. Rides the same.

Make sure you remove the hub nut and push the axle through as well as the stabilizer bar or you will replace both after you break them trying to get enough space to push the shock back into the tower. Also don’t forget to turn the shock after installing the level kit or you won’t line the actual leveling kit bracket into the tower. Take your time and it can be done in an afternoon in your garage with nothing more than some basic hand tools and a spring compressor to make life easier.

Great kit for the price! Installing wasn't easy. Ended up having a local shop install it. Needed an alignment after installing anyways so I had it all done at once. Perfect level after installation! 37" front, 37" back.

Took a bit of effort to take struts off and put on but well worth it. An alignment is definitely needed afterwards. Truck does look a lot better, in my opinion. Material quality seems good, especially considering the cost. Been on my truck a couple of days now and I'm happy with it.

Easy to install? Yup. Paid somebody to do it! Ride no different that stock. Well worth it if you want to level your Ranger. I did have to adjust headlights down a bit after install so as not to blind oncoming traffic.

When installing, DO NOT forget to loosen your CV axle nut. These are a great product, but it was a nightmarish install, as without loosening that nut, it pulls your CV shaft apart when attemping to get the shock installed back in.
