I got this helmet because it met my desire for safety, style, cost, comfort, and field of view. I have a large head, and got a large size that fits me well but I haven't gotten a haircut in a while so that could affect my fit. I only have 3 complaints: 1. This isn't ECE22.06 which is the newest standard. To be fair to Torc ECE22.05 was current until a few months ago so for a more budget brand that would be hard to keep up with. Still I hope they update it. 2. This helmet starts whistling a little at speeds above 40 mph. I'd hate this a lot more, but that is about as fast as my motorcycle can get up to where I take it. If you go faster you should consider this. 3. The visor fogs up. Anti-fog doesn't mean a lot here, if you ride in cold weather or come to a stop it will fog up. I think this is a good helmet that wont break the bank especially if you get it on sale at $140. The field of view is amazing, and is part of the reason I got it.

The Torc T1 blends an exceptional mix of comfort, style, and quality at an unbeatable price. Firstly, you almost forget you're wearing a helmet, thanks to its amazing viewing angles and the comfortable fit. The matt black finish with chrome accents adds a timeless, classic look that perfectly complements my bike's style. I ride a Triumph T120 Black, so I really love a solid mix of old school aesthetics and modern functionality. Size-wise, it's spot-on. I own several other helmets, and this is by far the most comfortable one I have. While I typically wear an XL in other brands, following Torc's sizing advice led me to choose a Large, which fits perfectly. It's a stark contrast to the Bell Bullitt, which I returned after finding it uncomfortably tight on the sides of my face, even in an XL. I know this is subjective and may be remedied with thinner cheek pad inserts on other brands, but the Torc just feels good right out of the box. In terms of build and feel, the Torc T1 surprisingly outshines its pricier counterparts. It feels more upscale and modern compared to the Bullitt, yet retains a classic, simple aesthetic. It's hard to put into words, but the helmet feels premium, surpassing expectations, especially given its price point – a little over half the cost of the Bullitt. This aspect alone makes the Torc T1 feel like a steal. Ventilation is another strong suit. It vents well, ensuring comfort during rides. Though wind noise can be noticeable at speeds over 55mph, it's not terrible, and this is easily remedied with earplugs. It's an excellent helmet for around-town use. I've worn it through winter temperatures of 40-50def F and, paired with a neck gaiter and leather jacket, wind chill hasn't been an issue. To sum it up, the Torc T1 is an excellent investment in my opinion. Its combination of style, comfort, and affordability, coupled with a premium feel, makes it an easy choice. I would not hesitate to purchase this helmet again and highly recommend it. Don't be misled by its lower price compared to competitors; the Torc T1 is as premium in feel and appearance as they come, if not more. Order both and see for yourself if you don't believe me. I wish I'd saved myself the time and just pulled the trigger on the Torc initially. Cheers, and safe riding.

Got the matte black Medium. I wear Large to 2XL depending on the helmet and my weird shaped head I guess. After researching Torc’s site and reading other reviews, I went with the sizing chart and Medium it was. This helmet feels like it was custom made for my head! Snug, but not hitting any pressure points at all. Soft lining and the most comfortable helmet I’ve ever had/worn for sure! I like modular helmets because I usually feel claustrophobic with standard full faces. This full face give plenty of breathing room and it feels open, so no worries there. I saw in some reviews that the shield locks in only the down position, but mine locks in any position, which is great for me wanting to always leave it cracked for fresh air. The locking mechanism may not be as strong as it is in the all the way down position, but the shield didn’t have much give in any position when locked down for me. The shield is much stronger and thicker than in any other helmet I’ve owned. Nothing on this helmet feels or looks cheap. My only uncertainty is the top vents. The inside protectant layer blocks the holes from air going directly to your forehead, but does appear to flow the air upward and back vs directly onto your forehead where the outer holes are. If I don’t feel like I’m getting enough air, I’ll likely make some small inside holes to adjust. UPDATE: took it out and definitely not getting enough air from top vents and sweaty forehead area! Only negative but will add holes from inside. Helmet stayed on very nicely during ride and not much noise at all. Prior to purchasing, I called around and tried to find a Bell Bullitt to try on before spending $500. Everyone was sold out, so I took a chance on the Torc based on comparison videos of the two. I have yet to try on a Bullitt, but I have zero regrets and don’t want the Bell now because after physically holding and testing the Torc, I really love the options you get with the Torc that you can’t get with the Bullitt. May be a Bullitt knockoff, but it holds it’s own with looks (brown leather is awesome), better airflow options (option to close off), and locking mechanism. This is the safety of a full face with the freedom of a 3/4 helmet. Just what I was looking for! I’d highly recommend this helmet to anyone!

To start with, this is Chinese made despite the Torc name. Torc does not make this helmet, if you go on Alibaba you'll find the actual supplier with several other styles not offered by Torc. That said, the helmet is very comfortable and fits really well, the protection it offers is still very good with DOT and ECE certifications. The vents although not obvious to find while riding and wearing gloves(the top ones at least) they're easy to use and can still be opened and closed after fumbling for them a bit. I recommend you get a tinted visor or wrap the clear visor with photochromic tint which is a transitioning tint. While I'm talking about the visor I'd also like to say the visor rubs on the chrome piece surrounding the face opening and over time leaves some marks on it, however it's not noticeable while riding as it's out of the line of sight, and if you have a tinted visor you won't be able to see it from outside either. The wind noise is where the short comings of the helmet lie, for speeds above 60MPH you can hear the wind very strongly, I found that installing ear muffs to my comm speakers completely eliminated this issue. Other than that, the paint and quality of the shell and padding is very good quality. The style and wide view make it a very rewarding helmet to wear as it looks very classy and you don't compromise on visibility at all, my shoulder checks have never been easier, I just turn my head 90 degrees and peek with my eye the rest of the way. Mirror checks can be done without turning your head at all. It's a great helmet, but expect some minor issues as mentioned above, I think style, comfort and visibility alone outweigh the cons. And the cons can be improved upon as mentioned above.

This helmet is very comfortable, light and the build quality is pretty decent. My measurement was exactly 24 inches, so I decided to get a large instead of the XL ( my half helmet is a XL and fits perfect ). The description indicates that the sizing does run big and they are correct. The large size fits me perfect. The wind noise is fine up to 70 miles per hour...not sure how it is beyond that as my motorcycle ( 2022 Royal Enfield 350 classic ) tops out at that speed. The helmet does have a loud whistle when the visor is UP. I noticed that it comes from the gap between the visor and the helmet...so...I am going to place a strip of thin weatherstripping to fill in the gap and see if that fixes it....I'll update the review later. I ordered the rootbeer brown and the paint/color are super nice. Overall I am very happy with the helmet and would order one again....especially if its on sale.

I bought this to replace an older Bell Arrow full face, so that is my point of reference. I’m using it on my Vespa GTS 300 with a flyscreen. My Bell Arrow is a medium, which fits 57-58cm heads. Using the Torc size chart I also landed on a medium and it fits as expected. No issues there. The gold finish looks much better in person. Compared to the Bell the Torc seems to have a little less padding especially in the cheek area, but that may just be the difference between a street and retro helmet. The Bell also seems to sit lower in front, below my jawline than the T1. Because of this I get more airflow around my neck and chin area when wearing the Torc. Field of view with this helmet is amazing, much wider than the Bell Arrow I’m used to. This is great for commuting and riding in heavier traffic as I often do. I haven’t noticed any more wind noise than with my old helmet so far, however I rarely ride faster than 55 mph. Weight seems on par with the Bell, I did not weigh them but they are close. I do wish the padding was a little more plush but overall I am very pleased and would buy one again. Also, I bought this helmet on an Amazon Warehouse deal in “Used Like New” condition. The helmet was in its original bag and box with all tags and stickers, the only thing to hint it wasn’t brand new was the broken original seal on the helmet box itself.

Like many people, I was debating between this helmet and the Bell Bullitt. I thought I would give this one a try first, but immediately knew it was being returned. First of all, it was a beautiful helmet. The gold flake looked so much better in real life than the pictures can do justice. It was a great looking helmet, and everything else seemed to be of very good quality. I was sorry I had to spring more money for the Bullitt, by why, you ask? The problem is in the shell size itself. I have a medium sized head, and slim build, and the Torc T1 made me look like a human bobble head. It was really HUGE. So I ordered the Bullitt, to compare and make sure it wasn’t just me, and the Bell looks perfect on my head and shoulders. Apparently Bell makes 3 shell sizes, to better match small medium and extra large heads, while it seems that Torc has a “one size fits all” shell. I kinda wish I could have kept the Torc, not just for the price, but the gold flake looked so cool! And I am not a flashy guy. I would say that if you have a larger head, and body frame to go with it, you will probably be happy with the Torc. Giving it three stars seemed a little unfair at first, but with my head size the helmet was laughable and no way I was going to use it, so I couldn’t give it more than that. By the way, I got the Bullitt in a different color, but the extra money really can be seen in the quality. Most importantly, for my Medium head, it looks amazing!

Very happy with this purchase. The good: Quality surprisingly good, feels very solid and plush/soft inside, paint is nice Price, just can't beat it compared to the expensive Bell equivalent ECE rating Multiple vents and 4 that can close (even better than Bell equivalent) The not so good: Sizing runs a bit big, but possibly not quite big enough that going down a size would fit better. Mine works, but could feel a bit more snug, but I think if I wet down a size it would be too tight, which is kinda unfortunate. Visor rubs along the chrome bit at the top of the opening, scratching the chrome and visor too I'd assume, although you can't really see that. Changing visors is definitely not easy, it could be worse for sure, but things don't seem to want to fit a lot of the time, and it's a bit of a task to fight a different visor back on. All in all, Worth it for the money.
