We needed blackout curtains for our West-facing bedroom windows. These curtains work perfectly for what we needed. They do indeed block out the light -- from the full moon, neighbors' porch lights, and early sunrises. But they also keep some of the Western sun's heat out of the room in the afternoon, and they mute traffic noise outside. I liked how I could hang them with the pinch-pleat hooks and rings, or put them on the rods with the back tabs. I chose the hooks and rings, they were super-easy to hang, and they look really nice. These are nice curtains. Very thick and sturdy. But the outer drapery has a plastic feel to it. There is another brand that has true linen outer with blackout capabilities. That was my only complaint. Otherwise it is a good product. Very disappointed! I took a lot of time researching new bedroom blackout curtains. These looked perfect! I was wrong when they arrived! They are soo very wrinkled all over. No way could they be hung in that way! The blackout lining is some kind of vinyl/plastic like. So, it says on the directions (on the label) Do Not Iron on the lining side. I can see now why! The color was OK the material of he curtains seemed OK! I looked at all of the very nice/informative Customer clips... And when I took another look/see after they arrived. I looked more closely and in ALL OF THE CUSTOMER CLIPS CURTAINS ALL "VERY WRINKLED!" Sorry that I missed that.! SOO.. I AM NOW LOOKING FOR ANOTHER BRAND. GOOD LUCK! ... show more

Love these! It was a bit of a learning curve to get the plastic hooks in the curtain to attach the rings but I figured it out. I will say I love the LOOK of the rings, but they move so freely on the rod and hang a bit lower so it creates gaps in the panels and above them and lets a little light in. To make them truly blackout I would hang them flush with the rod so you can close gaps easier. But the panels themselves are very dense and block light great. (Photos to show how well they work during brightest part of the day in our bedroom) ... show more
