I doubt this will last a long time, but I get tired of decorative things anyway! I needed a change. It's pretty on my bed. It could be a little less sheer but I just put it over my existing quilt which was a light floral. If you have a white duvet, it will be fine. It's a nice soft color and gives the feeling of a tranquil spa. I haven't washed it yet, and will update the review after I do!

It's a beautiful comforter and pillows / shams... my issues are it wrinkles so easy. I washed it before using `, and had to iron it. It would work fine if it was on a guest bedroom where it wasn't in use everyday. I would not buy again for a everyday bedspread .

I have had this Duvet set for over 2 years now, and it is still absolutely beautiful. It is holding up really well. I wash it on delicate, and hang it to dry on my retractable clothesline. I make sure the crochet lace is flat when I hang it to dry and I fluff the ruffles while it is still wet. It dries beautifully! I wash all the decorative pillows on delicate also, and line dry them as well. The colors are still really pretty and have not faded at all, and are great for a nautical or cottage beach bedroom. Very shabby chic! I put the 2 euro shams on the chair cushions in our bedroom, they fit perfectly! I couldn’t be happier with this set, and I would definitely buy it again. I pair it with a white cotton ruffled sheet set. Love it!

This duvet set is overall fairly good. I noticed a ton of loose threads when I opened the packaging. One of the Duvet ties had fringed, and someone tied a knot in it and proceeded to sell the item. Probably a worker in the factory. Everything else was packaged appropriately, however, I believe I am going to buy the comforter set also, because the bed skirt is not the striped cotton I was expecting, but rather blue polyester. Note-All of the blue components are very cheap-polyester. The reds (including duvet cover) are cotton. And you can tell by feel-not by sight in pictures. And you can tell when you get your package. Someone advised me the blue color was like denim...it is not at all. It is a dark blue-almost navy but a tiny bit darker. I am not completely unhappy with this set but I need to buy a back-up comforter to make this an actual entire set of that makes sense. Also, the buttons on the duvet seem flimsy, with loose threads everywhere. I am afraid to wash it. It works with my bed, and for that I am very happy! The set was less 5 stars because of the Duvet tie being fringed, the polyester blue pieces, and the massive wrinkles in the bed skirt. Also...please note that if your mattress is 12 inch or lager, with box springs, you will want to consider buying a king. The space shown in the advertisement photos does not capture the true size. Mine JUST fits my Queen 12” mattress set with box springs. Had I known, I would have purchased a king. The small striped pillow has major wrinkles that look as if they were ironed in place by the manufacturer. I may be able to fix with an iron at home. Overall I love the design, and I love the red color used in this set. Everything else I will need to mend/address personally. I would like to address the review that states “Hotel Quality”. This set is nowhere near hotel quality. It looks nice, however, every hotel I have ever stayed in has nice thick duvets and covers that are cotton. These reviews are meant to give other consumers the facts about items, not to mislead. I wish it was hotel quality! I get my comforter tomorrow-I am looking forward to seeing if the blue set is any better-and actually how the comforter is vs. the duvet cover.

This is my third set in the same exact pattern from Madison Park and all I can say is- disappointing! The quality from the first to the last is marked and after just a couple of months of ownership- the seams are unraveling. I originally bought a comforter set and I loved it! It gets dingy after a while so I purchased a new set on Wayfair. This was a duvet with throw pillows. I noticed different shades of yellow than the original. The grey and yellow throw pillow had more of a neon tint to it. I purchased again 2 years later. When I love the look of something, I do not deviate. This time I purchased the duvet set from Amazon and the first thing I noticed was again different shades of yellow. Also- loose threads that eventually lead to open seams. The quality of the material is very different. The throw pillows feel like paper bags. I believe that consistency is HUGE and Madison Park FAILS in that department as well as in the quantity department. This will be my last set from that brand.
