This wasn't like a "hey i hit the mega millions" type of find but it was definitely a "hey i won a scratch ticket for a couple grand" type of find. ( Read: not life changing but a pleasant surprise and a wonderful addtion to my life.) I was apprehensive when i purchased this item, thinking it had to be low quality because of the reasonable price - i stand corrected. This is a marvelous little fencing set! Made from fir, this set has lasted all summer and the only thing i think i may do for my next go round is add some type of sealer to it- it looks like maybe the stain has faded a bit after 4 months. For people that need to surround flower beds or make a cute country cottage house look cuter, country-er and cottage-yer this is definitely something you'll want. Heads up- fir is a SOFT wood, so don't be alarmed when it feels like the screws are loose in the holes- you may need to reinforce them a bit. Once i got them set up, i marvelled at the quality and price, knowing it would cost me much more to make something like this than it did to purchase it. Definitely worth the buy! ... show more

I bought several sections to put together for the edge of a flower bed. I painted them white because they only come in brown. That was a lot more time consuming than I thought, but what isn't? The fence looks nice there. I didn't want plastic and the posts are deep enough to make it stand very stable. Putting sections together is tricky but not too bad. Warning: the wood is extremely light weight so moving it around after you've put sections together is a delicate thing. You don't want the joints to bend. The lightweight wood makes it a delicate little fence so it requires some finesse in installing. But altogether, it's beautiful and I'm very happy. Too bad there's not free shipping but my garden is worth it. ... show more

I bought this fence to seperate my front yard from my neighbors yard. No problem assembling the sections but its installed height is only about 16" which is good enough for what I used it for. It would be great as a border for a yard or garden. Looks great and smells like a cedar closet. It is paintable. I would recommend this fence. ... show more

I bought this fence to keep dogs from being on my grass. Not only does it deter them, but it looks so beautiful and added so much to the yard. It was easy to install and is very sturdy.
