I will add a full body picture when I get a chance, but I wanted to get this review up in time for Halloween orders. I LOVE IT! It's absolutely adorable and so flattering. I wear my 50s dresses with a quality petticoat to get the big flair in the skirt. This fabric is actually a good quality thickness though. So for those who don't wear petticoats, it could still look great. I usually have a problem with these dresses not being made for larger busts. I'm a 42DDD and this looks so great on me! The secret is the stretchy back! Beneath the lace-up back is very stretchy so it would give a flattering fit on a wide range of bust sizes. I'm wearing a strapless bra in the picture. I was afraid the back might be too low to hide it, but that's not a problem at all. The side zipper is, of course, clutch! No help needed to get in an out. I'm impressed with the fabric thickness. These are usually a very cheap fabric. This one is durable and absolutely no transparency. The top is even lined. I usually wear a 2x in normal women's cloths (or an XL in unisex shirts). I sized up to a 3X because that's always a good idea in these types of dresses. And it's a perfect fit. So I say size up one size for sure. I'm bookmarking this dress to order other patterns later! For now, though, I can't wait to wear this to Halloween brunch! 100% recommend! UPDATE: My sister in law loves it so much, she ordered one for herself. Twinsies! UPDATE 2: Added some more pictures! Got to wear this out once already and got SO MANY compliments on it! Ordering it in red for Christmas! My friend who I had brunch with loved it so much she's ordering one too! We're going to convert them to straps though. Should be a simple sewing job. You also have the long belt as extra material if you need it. I'm going to make a matching headband for the Halloween one with the belt material.

I purchased this dress for a retro Hawaiian luau barbecue. I was surprised that it was made so well given the price. If you want that classic 1950s flare, as depicted in the photo, you will need a petticoat. It still looks good without a petticoat, but it will be a little more flat like the girl in the video. Overall, I am very happy with this dress, it’s very close to the photo pictured, it’s mostly cotton so it will breathe in the heat of an outdoor barbecue, it’s flattering on an hourglass figure, the cinching in the back makes it adjustable, and the vibrant print is fun and unique. The only drawbacks are that some of the pineapples show up in weird ways on the seams (the dress featured in the picture shows the best rendition of pineapples lining up or not conflicting with each other), the elastic paneling at the back ripples at the top seam (this may not be noticeable if it’s cinched enough), and it definitely isn’t wash and wear-needs to be ironed or dry cleaned. Fabric colors will likely fade if machine washed regularly and will likely shrink if washed in warm/hot or dried with heat (95% cotton).

This dress runs true to size & fits just as shown in product pix. The corset like lacing in the back is functional to some extent (but don't expect it to sn#tch you in as much as a corset could). The pattern is cute....and that's kinda my problem. It's so cute that it looks juvenile. The cherries look exactly as pictured in the product listing so its totally my bad. I should have realized that the print is fairly large which (in my humble opinion) makes it look like a "novelty" style and I prefer a more vintage look. The cherry pattern is so large that to me, this dress is more red than black. And when I tried on red shoes with it, it was too much red (It looked better with black shoes). I have another dress with cherries on it, also from Amazon. The cherries on that dress are smaller, giving it a more classic look. That dress looks more black than red because the cherry pattern is so small. So wearing red shoes looks really nice because it compliments & brings out the red in the cherries. Moral of the story... Cute dress if cute is the look you're going for. Lol. I think it'd be ideal for someone under the age of 22-ish.

Beautiful blue. It fits but definitely need a petticoat if you want it to poof out. Haven’t worn it yet so hopefully after I wash it I can get some of the wrinkles out. Updated: I love the color. I had read the reviews so I got a petticoat so it wouldn't just hang but that was pretty uncomfortable so I took the petticoat off. It was still very pretty. I had ironed it a few times and the only thing that worked for the wrinkles is a steamer. Highly recommend using a steamer on it to get the wrinkles out. The tie at the neck was uncomfortable by the end of the evening but still a nice dress overall. I'll wear it again.

I actually think this dress is really cute and comfortable. I wore it as part of a costume however I would wear it again. The material is not stretchy and is a thicker material. If you need some give in the dress I would size up. It has a zipper on the side and tie up in the back. I'm 5'5" 130#'s I ordered a size Medium and the dress came just below my knees.

So I normally wear 2X and I am 6 foot 3, but I bought the 3X and I’m glad I did! It fit perfectly! The color was exactly as pictured. The fabric is very thick. The only thing this dress is missing is pockets! It does have a zipper on the side. The corset strings on the back are a great design so you can cinch your waist a bit. I’m going to buy this again in different designs for date nights!
