The rake handle is nice and smooth (but not slippery), and I didn't get any blisters on my hands from using it. This is a pretty heavy duty rake! It gets the job done, but can sometimes be a little too abrasive on the grass and pull a few roots. So it’s almost too heavy duty. (Which I never thought I’d find myself saying haha) Great value and very easy to use!
