Since these blankets are never meant to hang over the side (and we tried the ones made for two people, but it always felt too small even tho we are small people) my husband and I got two twins for our deep queen bed and with these snuggly yet cooling blankets- we haven’t slept better! (For couples who one or either partner is a blanket stealer - for us it’s both haha - we share a fitted sheet and flat sheet and just have the two weighted blankets. Queen size (60" x 80" or 152cm x 203cm), 20 pounds (9kg) weighted blanket. This is one of the heavier blankets (weight vs. surface area) I've found and is at the upper limits of being comfortable - meaning, I find it comfortable but would not want anything heavier. The only con for me is how much weight this blanket traps - it can get extremely warm. I will only be able to use this in the winter and even then I'm going to have to keep my room colder than I traditionally do. I don't know anything about "the benefits" of a weighted blanket, just my spouse and I prefer to pile blankets on the bed to achieve a certain feel and weight and this blanket does that job without using 2-3 blankets. Plus, it weighs more than those would anyway. My *complaint* is that the 60x80 is too short on the sides for a Queen size bed. It is long enough to overlap the bottom of the bed, but does not hang over the sides at all, so it required putting it on a blanket that is on top of a flat sheet, so you wouldn't have to just stare at a sheet on the sides of the bed. Otherwise, it would make a great comforter all on its own. It's more of a topper. But I can see why some have said it "slides off".... That's literally because that small amount that hangs off the end of the bed... Even though that part isn't even the weight of the blanket, it's enough for that to occur. It seems like if it hung off the sides of the bed, as well as the bottom, there may be less sliding, but maybe it would just slide everywhere then. I don't know. But if you have a Queen size bed, you *could* experiment with getting a King Size one and see how that works, if you're looking to replace your comforter entirely. 🤷🏼♂️ Otherwise, we think it's great... I used this for my elderly mother for about a month and had it always inside a duvet. She likes heavy blankets. Recently I went to clean the duvet and upon opening, thousands of micro beads spilled out! I looked all over the blanket and could not find a noticeable rip, but these beads are so tiny I can see it easily slipping through some stitching over time. I wish I could return this but it’s been just over 30 days. Another issue is this thick plastic barrier makes it unbreathable. My mother started to develop a sour smell on her, and I realized it was from sweating at night in this blanket. Yuck! I am throwing this thing out. ... show more

It feels awesome, the blanket itself is pretty soft, but I will be getting a cover for it, just so I can clean it easier. Personally, I like to fold mine over, and it feels like the weight of the led blankets you wear at the dentist during x-rays. Which was the goal! Yay! You definitely won’t want more than 20lbs. My first two nights with it, it did affect my dreams, a little bit ( I think maybe because I was stuck in one place while sleeping?), and was difficult to move the blanket when I would be half awake trying to get up. But it’s really not too hard to manage.(I’m not weak, it’s just a weird to go to whip off a blanket when ur half dreaming, and it doesn’t magically fold over haha) I will update us if the beads fall out, that was my issue with my previous blanket, from a different brand. ... show more

Let me say first that I usually don't sleep through the night without waking up at least once. Ever since I impulsively bought this at a sleepover with my buddy, I have never slept better. It takes some adjusting to, but I have slept so much better. I am a 4 comforter kind of person. This brought it down to 1-2 instead. On warm nights, it is perfect. On cold nights, I add a blanket. I wish the material was softer, but I'm sure durability is a reason for the material.
