Pretty, well made, good functionality. This is a ceramic mug so it’s not going to keep your beverages hot for long periods of time just by the nature of the cup. I'm a huge coffee/tea drinker. This mug is perfect for me. It's a 17-ounce capacity so if you are someone who likes to add creamers or other liquids to your coffee there is enough room to make a 12-ounce cup of coffee and still have room to add those. The mug is a sturdy ceramic with beautiful artwork. The lid fits snuggly in the cup. It has a raised outer edge around the drinking hole that has a groove in it for your lip that helps prevent those occasional dribbles. The hole cover isn't one of those slide to close it covers. It actually snaps down. The cap itself fits very snuggly into the top of the cup. This is a definite advantage if you travel with it, helping to eliminate spillage in your car. It also fits nicely in my cars cup holder. I tested the cap by filling the cup and holding it upside down (over my sink of course) and the lid held tightly and not a drop leaked out. It came nicely packaged in a very sturdy box with a lid. This box is so nice that you could easily repurpose it for future gift giving. I highly recommend this beautiful mug. ... show more

Beautiful mug with a tight seal for the top. My complaint comes from that it doesn’t keep the coffee hot long enough!!! I like my coffee nice and hot, and yes I do use cream in my coffee but not so much that it cools the coffee off. It stayed hot right after brewing for maybe 5-10 minutes, and then it went lukewarm. ... show more

I have several Lang mugs of similar shape and size that I love. But when I planned a vacation in the mountains this year, I realized that I couldn't take them with me to make my evening brewed cacao because they didn't have lids. This mug is every bit as pretty as the Lang mugs with the added benefit of a secure lid to keep my Choffy warm and prevent spills. It also seems to hold just slightly more liquid. It's sturdy, colorful, holds up just fine in the dishwasher, and I love the purple flower design. I got several compliments at the communal dinner table from other guests at the resort. Also, the box was so nice I couldn't throw it out. So it has joined several of my Lang boxes as décor on my desk. Would definitely buy from this company again. ... show more
