These glasses are MUCH thinner than I expected. But, they sure do look good with some juice in it. Hopefully they don’t break on me. I love the glasses, they are thin so I am hoping I can be careful. I am a little disappointed that one of the glasses has an imperfection/dip on the rim. I feel wasteful returning the whole set and getting a new one sent out.. so I'm not sure what I will do or if its possible to get one glass sent.

I'm rarely motivated to write product reviews, but these glasses are remarkable. Unlike similar glasses that can weigh twice as much, these are a mere 5.3 ounces (less than noted in the Amazon description), and although the glass is very thin, they seem to be quite resistant to breakage (none) in the months I've had them. They are dishwasher safe. The overall height is about 5 3/16" and 2 1/2 inches in diameter at the top. "Luigi Bormioli" is lightly etched on the bottom of the elegant-looking glasses. These would be a good choice for someone with arthritis or reduced hand strength, plus they just feel nice in the hand. ... show more

I absolutely love these. The look of them, the feel of holding them, the way they pour. After getting my first set, I ordered a second the next day. All that said, I should note two things: 1) They are fragile. It is part of what makes me love them, but the glass is incredibly thin, and they will break if you are not careful. 2) Compared to a typical set of glasses they are expensive. Have always loved Luigi Bormioli glasses, and stemware, too. I require a thin rimmed glass for everything. I'm fussy as hell. Bought these as a gift for a guest who loved them. He will use them as beer glasses. We use them for beer, water, cocktails, and (especially) frappes. We have not broken one (though another guest did) in six years. We love the shorter, wider glasses, too, which we use as water glasses mostly, but also as tumblers for Scotch, other whisky, and Armagnac. I found one cracked the first week after getting them. So I’d say so much for all the high tech titanium infused glass BS. They are so fragile that someone busted one without even noticing. They’re very attractive otherwise but... :-(

I was completely infatuated with the look of these glasses. We love using them but have sadly found they break easily. We’ve had two break but I love using them so much we are going to get another set soon.
