I love this thing! The lanyard is perfect for taking my phone on the boat and taking pictures without worrying I'll drop it in the water. I keep my ID and my primary credit card in it which is perfect as I also like bringing it to parties as a sort of clutch purse, and I like keeping my phone around my neck when I travel to discourage pickpockets. The handle works great to prop it up for videos and such, and the case lasts a long time. Eventually (after several years) the mounted leather started to pull away from the case so I absolutely bought a replacement. When I got a new phone of a different size, I immediately bought this same case for the new size. And they're really quick about getting a case out when a new phone is released- within a couple weeks of the iPhone 16 being released, the case was available for purchase. Installation is super easy and the phone stays in the case even after I drop it. I will say if the case gets wet (from rain or w/e) it can warp the leather a bit- still functional but the leather is looser. If you put too many items in the pocket for too long and then take some of it out, it can stretch out the leather/ elastic to the point where the button on the handle is keeping things from falling out- but again, that's only if you take something out after storing it in there for a long time. For safety, I limit how much I put in there but I'm paranoid about stuff like that. TL;DR, the only way I don't buy a replacement is if the company goes out of business (or they stop offering the black case) ... show more

Durable little phone case that doesn’t add much bulk to the phone at all. Features, likes and dislikes: I especially like the finger strap on the back, and I use it whenever I’m using my phone. And sometimes, when I’m not using my phone, I use it as a convenient handle to carry my phone across the backs of my fingers when my hands are full with grocery bags or something like that. The little pocket in back, for a card or cash, is a nice bonus; I have used it about 10-12 times when I want to leave the wallet at home. It’s a tight fit, though, you’ll only fit up to two cards OR a couple of folded dollar bills. It’s not a feature I use everyday, just a convenient bonus without adding much bulk. I don’t like the neck-lanyard that comes with the order, but I have a wrist strap from some other purchase years ago that I attach to the bottom loop instead. That metal bottom loop is another feature I use often, and I even clip my keys to it when I walk around the store without a purse. I can’t remember the number of times I’ve dropped my phone or sent it flying through the air because I wasn’t paying attention. Not a single scratch or evidence of damage anywhere on my phone, including the screen. So the bumper rim around the front edge does exactly what it is supposed to do, and sits tall enough to protect the screen. While the sides and back provides the cushion/impact resistance my phone needs. I bought this case in November 2019 (it’s September 2021, as I’m writing this), and I just noticed today that the stitching on the bottom edge of the finger strap is torn halfway through. As you can see from the photos, it’s seen heavy use during the 2 years I’ve had it. I figured I’d replace it now, before the strap tears off completely and I risk dropping the phone. I’m not complaining about having to replace a $15 phone case every two years! I looked around Amazon and still can’t find a phone case with a finger strap/handle that I like better; and a lot of the other brands have extra pockets, zippers, billfolds and bulkiness that I don’t want. So I’m ordering the same case again, right now. It’s worth the money, stands up to wear, and has the features I need, without any of the things I don’t like. Definitely 5 stars, and I don’t think I will ever find a case I like better! Hopefully it’s still on the market when I need to replace this 2nd one in a couple of years 😊 ... show more

The first one I received was defective... one of the snap posts broke off on the first day. So, the real test (Customer Service) was next. A replacement arrived just 2 days later, and I tested and pulled, snapped, and unsnapped the strap many times. It works great. (I don't understand people that give poor reviews for defective products. It happens to the best of companies. Give them a chance to make it right first. I'll take a company that corrects their mistakes over expecting "perfection" any day.) I use this case for my iPhone 8 Plus. The phone fits nicely, and all of the cut-outs, and button covers are precise. I like the gray; it looks executive and professional. The leather stitching is good. The case is not thick or bulky, and it slips nicely into my back pocket, with nothing catching or getting hung up. I've been using a magnet system to mount my phone in my car, but I don't want anything attached to the nice leather on the case. The solution was easy. I glued the 1-1/2" diameter, thin, circular sheet metal disc inside the credit card holder. The magnet still holds through one layer of leather with enough strength, and I still have room for my Driver's License & Credit Card. Small Con - I wirelessly recharge on a stand so that I can see the face of the phone. The loop for the lanyard hangs down in the center and doesn't allow the phone to rest flat on the bottom surface. So I usually make a point to flip the loop up as I place it in the dock. The one thing that would improve this case for me, (and maybe others) is that instead of having 1 centered loop for attaching a lanyard, I'd like it with 2 loops, placed in each of the bottom corners, then instead of a traditional lanyard, I would use a strap with a clip on each end. This would stabilize the phone from 2 corners so that it's not flipping over or spinning, especially when I bend or lean forward. There are situations where I need to video record hands-free (like a body cam), and it gets ruined when through movement, the phone spins around and records my shirt. lol. Maybe the seller would consider that as option model in the future. Then, it would also rest flat in my charger ; ) ... show more
