This tool kit does have a nice assortment of tools that will help one address several typical home repair projects. All the tools work and function as expected. Although I already have several tools, I ordered this Tool Kit - 84 Pieces Professional Home Tool Set as a set I can quickly go to for a simple tool. The case makes it easy to quickly find the tool I need. And this case can easily store away in any room. I feel this is a decent tool kit for anyone needing a tool kit for minor home projects, while the tools do seem well made, I am not sold on this being a professional tool kit. However, the kit is adequate for most home projects. The handles on the tools have a comfortable grip and the case holds all the tools in place. While I do feel this is decent kit, be sure to carefully read the description before ordering to understand that the "84" pieces includes a small box of 40 screws and wall plugs, which I do not consider tools, so one is really getting 44 tool pieces in this kit if you count the roll of tape as a tool as well. I feel the listed price is a little steep for this kit, considering that other similar tool kits on Amazon are selling for much less. Nonetheless, it is still a decent set of standard tools with a box to keep them all in place. Getting this kit comes down to the actual tools in the kit, the adjustable wrench and pliers in this kit are of more value to me than getting a kit with tools that I may have very little use for, and so far, this kit it has already proven handy in my household.

First set of tools specifically for a garden, I am experimentally starting, if it goes well. Thought I would order some tools in case things went well. This tools aren't what I expected, but maybe I should have for the price point. I am considering returning these and maybe paying a little more for something more substantial. I wanted to be excited, but most of these didn't feel like they would do what they look like they should do (moreso the cutting tools). If you have less than twenty dollar, then maybe this is one of your trade-offs.

Household repair kits are often a mixed bag. Either too pricey with tools you won't use or so cheap that the quality makes them a scam. Here we have a solid in-between set. Some good quality here that will keep your repairs going. Note: I am reviewing the electrical set. Other sets in this line have very different tools. I'll try to go down the list: Screwdrivers: 5 stars; black-tipped, rubber handle for insulation. Full size. The metal is probably not top-tier quality, so who knows how long they'll last, but they are perfectly functional out of the box. Note: this set includes 4 different types of screwdrivers: Full size (2), miniature (2), conductive-test (1), and a ratchet set with interchangeable blades. All are decent quality. The conductive test requires batteries. Ratchet works with the press-switch style that won't slip, which is a good choice. Hammer: 3 stars; 3/4 sized and integrated plastic handle. Won't take much of a beating and not powerful, but plenty good for driving nails into drywall and studs. Hacksaw: 3 stars; small plastic handle and small blade. But most sets don't include a hacksaw! So anything is a bonus here. Utility knife: 5 stars; slide style; solid and hefty with replaceable blades. Comes with 5 extra blades! Should last a good long time Tape measure: 3 stars; 3 meters; no imperial scale means US customers will not find this useful. Seems to work fine though. Pliers: 3 stars; includes standard and needle-nose. Not the strongest, but they'll do. Electrician's Pliers: 1 star; Good electrician's pliers don't come cheap. These won't stand up to anything, so set your expectations accordingly. Easily the worst tool of the set. Wrenches: ?? stars; I've never used this type of hinge-adjustment wrench, so I can't say how good it is yet. Hardware: 5 stars; electrical tape and screws/anchors included! Gets you started working immediately.

I needed a tool kit as part of emergency supplies my wife’s car. I was going to put one together myself when I saw this. All the tools come in a plastic box tht fits under the cargo cover with the spare tire. The only thing that I needed to add was duct tape. Other tool kits that I have seen have lower quality tools and/or unnecessary tools. The hack saw is not really a good tool for a car kit, but the screwdrivers, wrenches, hammer, tape and electrical connectors are. I like that it has two types of pliers and a crescent wrench as well as two large nd four small screwdrivers. So far I have only used the hammer and measuring tape and they both worked well. She likes that it takes up almost no space in the car. Definitely happy that I got this. Hopefully I wont have to use it but it is nice to know that it is there if I need it.

Ordered this as a housewarming gift for a friend of mine who has no tools and is not handy but has recently purchased a home. I see the kit as the kind of thing that will get you out of a "do you have any kind of saw/screwdriver/hammer" type situation until you can call a professional. The Good: Versatile and extensive selection of tools including a small hand saw, ratcheting palm screwdriver with some sockets, pliers, adjustable wrench, etc. I'd be very happy to find this if I was at my mom's house fixing something in a pinch. The layout is efficient and the package is small, so it doesn't take up much space in a small home or apartment and there's a place for everything to go back into. The orange color says "you forgot me under the sink but here I am" which is great. Not So Good: As you would imagine at the price point, the tools are like Harbor Frieght quality. Some feel better than others but they're not going to get a ton of use so it's really very adequate. I also found that a few of the tools seem to fall from their designated spots pretty easily, which doesn't make it easy to close the box when done.
