This book grabbed me from the very first chapter and refused to let go. Too Late: Definitive Edition is intense, unsettling, and completely addictive. Colleen Hoover does an incredible job of creating characters who are so layered that you’re never entirely sure who to trust—or if you should trust anyone at all. Sloan’s story is raw and emotional, filled with impossible choices and dangerous situations that had my heart racing. Asa is one of the most complex villains I’ve ever read—equal parts terrifying and magnetic—and the tension between Sloan, Asa, and Carter is just relentless. I loved that this edition felt more polished and cohesive; the pacing kept me hooked the whole way through. It’s definitely not a lighthearted romance—there are dark themes and some very uncomfortable moments—but that’s what made it so compelling. I've read a lot of Colleen Hoover books and this is definitely one of my favorites! It's drags you in, hooks you in the story and I couldn't put it down! It's some of her best work. It's suspensful, captivating, and twisty. I loved it!!

I had high hopes for Too Late by Colleen Hoover, but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The story was intense and emotionally charged, which I appreciate, but at times it felt a little too dark and overwhelming. Some plot twists were unexpected but didn’t always feel believable or fully developed. The characters had potential, yet I struggled to connect with them deeply. I just found Colleen Hoover and I love her writing! This is not my usual genre of reading but this book had a love story included with the psychological thriller. I could not put the book down.
