Since my face is very sensitive I decided to try this exfoliator. I struggle with black heads and I know it’s bad to pick them out but after picking them out I wash with this powder and apply just a bit of water so it can exfoliate more and it honestly cleans up my skin/pores especially in my nose area and it doesn’t leave my face dry after like other products. Works perfectly! My skin is super sensitive to a LOT of skincare products, so I started using it every other day, and so far, I haven't had any problems or reactions. My pores look smaller and cleaner. Considering that I usually have severe reactions to niacinamide (even in small doses) from the first use, this powder is a lifesaver for me. I understand why people are upset about the bottle size and the amount of product inside, but it is sold BY WEIGHT, NOT BY VOLUME. So please read reviews and the product description before ordering. For the amount and price, it's a fair deal, especially considering that full bottles of other products are sold for twice the price, while the difference would be just about 1/3 of the product. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I do really like this face wash, I’ve never bought anything like it before. Some of the reviews complain that the bottle only comes half full, yes that’s correct. However, it’s measured by weight, not volume. You get the correct amount specified on the bottle. And it lasts a surprisingly long time, I’ve had this for months and it’s maybe half way gone. I also ~assume~ that because it’s in powder form it lasts a lot longer than liquid face wash without the need for preservatives, so that is a huge plus. It is extremely gentle, as you can see in the video it’s a powder that immediately foams up when wet. It’s fragrance free so it doesn’t really have a scent, if anything it smells like baby soap? Maybe? I usually wash my face with it at night for about 60 seconds and it seems to make my skin clean. I haven’t had any breakouts from it. I also have eczema on my face and it’s gentle enough not to irritate it. However I would say if you’re buying this as your one and only exfoliating product… I would look elsewhere. It doesn’t really exfoliate my face at all, but that’s due to how gentle it is, which allows you to use it everyday. I still have to go in once a week with a more powerful exfoliant. Now would I buy it again? No probably not, it was fun to try but I will probably just continue to buy my gentle fragrance free drug store face wash, solely because it’s cheaper, and both washes seem to be equal in effectiveness. ... show more

Cleansing and exfoliating. So close to a much more $$$$ brand. Pour a quarter amount into hand, add a few drops of water to make a paste and scrub. So great. Not drying or irritating.

This is a very gentle and effective exfoliant. It's scentless doesn't dry the skin out and although you shouldnt, it could be used daily. This won't leave your skin red like some other brands and also has a slight foaming effect. Only downside is it's always sold half full, making me feel I'm not getting my money's worth. I love this product so much! I’d never used a dry cleanser before this, and was blown away with how great my skin looks from using it. I feel like this brand is marketed towards younger people, but I am almost 50, and I love everything I’ve tried from this brand. And this is for sure my favorite. There is a small learning curve for new users as to the amount and method to use, but once you’ve got it, it leaves your skin so soft and clean without feeling stripped or dry . It seems very gentle on my sensitive skin, and the smell, which is a bit odd, is very, very light and not off putting. I will definitely be purchasing again. ... show more
