I purchased the 9L Tomtoc Sling Bag to use when traveling instead of a larger more traditional backpack I've been using for years. It perfectly fits my 14" Samsung Galaxy Book laptop and 11" Samsung S9 tablet, with room to spare and more than adequate protection for both. My Hydro Flask Trail 24oz. water bottle fits perfectly in the internal water bottle pocket with plenty of room for other items (charging cables, sunglasses/case, admin pouch, etc). And this doesn't take into account the two external pockets. I'm amazed at how much can comfortably fit in this bag while appearing as small as it does. The carry strap is very comfortable while not being too large or thick. The strap is akin to a seatbelt strap. Thin and tightly woven while obviously being very strong and durable. The bag allows the strap to be positioned for either right or left carry. I also appreciate the extra material that protects the body from the buckle. All in all, an exceptionally well made and designed bag with excellent materials (Cordura all YKK zippers) providing a very comfortable carry. I am more impressed than I expected to be, despite high expectations based on prior experience with Tomtoc.

I bought the tomtoc 7L bag last month and I use it every day. It's fantastic. I wanted the smallest, simplest possible bag for my every day things. It fits my iPad (10th), Apple Pencil, Magic Keyboard Folio, charger, cables, 25oz Owala bottle, and an assortment of small items. It looks and feels much smaller than a laptop backpack. I can carry it comfortably, even for an hour or two. I love it because it: - has a padded main device sleeve I can find without looking - has a second sleeve to keep my keyboard separate - holds my water bottle upright inside, where it can't fall out - has just enough pockets in just the right places - has a zipper which never snags - holds its shape even when mostly empty - sheds water when rained on - can be carried fully unzipped without falling open I used to carry my laptop backpack anytime I wanted my tablet, but I really appreciate the smaller bag. It's quick to toss on my back and set down. It tucks easily on a bench seat, car footwell, or under a coffee shop table. It's much easier to bring everywhere, so I always have everything with me. I've never thought about "can be carried unzipped" as a feature, but when moving from room to room in my house, it's really nice to just grab it without closing it and go. Since all of the heavy things are connected to the back of the bag, they're all held up normally. The things on the front have stretch or zip pockets and the front side of the pack does not drape open enough for anything to fall out. I tried the 5L size first, but settled on the 7L. The 5L fit the iPad but it needed to be aligned carefully to go into the sleeve. On the 7L, I can drop the iPad in at almost any angle. The 5L has a second sleeve for the keyboard, but the keyboard blocks the inside back zip pocket when placed in it. On the 7L, the back zip pocket is in front of the second sleeve, so it's always accessible. Finally, the 5L was a bit too narrow front-to-back to fit the iPad, keyboard, and water bottle, so the front of the bag stretched when I closed it and always looked "askew". The 7L is just big enough to fit everything and stay straight and unstretched. The 7L is even big enough to fit a 14” M1 MacBook Pro in the main sleeve if I want a full laptop. It will even fit both, with the iPad and keyboard in the second sleeve, but then I think it's a bit heavy for a one-strap carry. It does have a few tiny issues: the bag doesn't stand up by itself when set down, so I need to lean it against something. Also, the carry strap loosens itself over time, so I plan to stitch it in place at the right length. Minor problems aside, though, I am delighted I've found it and expect I'll carry it around every day for quite a long time.

Bought this to carry my 13” M1 MacBook Pro. Fits the laptop snugly. Room for some extras, power supply, cables, mouse, water bottle. Tablet if you have one. And a small amount of small extras, not the kitchen sink. Build construction is top notch. Good zippers, buckles and straps. Material is thick. Stitching all looks quality. Bag itself is light weight. The single strap is well padded and attaches to either side. The khaki color is a nice change from typical black or gray bags and looks great. Overall if you are tired and don’t need a big bulky backpack, want to carry your laptop and just essentials, definitely give this bag a look over. I’m happy to recommend it.

I needed a compact sling bag for daily exploration while on vacation. It can easily hold all the items I need. I had an iPad Pro, Amazon Paperwhite Kindle, Power banks, cables, snacks, sunscreen, wipes, hand sanitizer, and other on-the-go items. It all fits in the main pocket. On the back is a hidden pocket where I can store my more secure items like my wallet, passport, and keys. I also added a carabiner on the strap on the side and secured a water bottle as well.

Initially wanted a bag to be used on the regular, as I didn’t want to use my other big brand crossbodies everyday. This bag has ended up being the bag I go for on the daily. It is super comfortable and the materials are very durable. There is lots really soft padding. I took this bag to Japan and New York City and it was a lifesaver. It suprisingly can fit a lot of stuff. It is also super stylish and subtle as it is just all black with a clean design. I have a few crossbodies like coach and supreme, but this one honestly is my favorite and the most affordable one that I own.
