these boots seem to be almost perfect. i was looking for a knee high ,wide calf, slip on, tough, boot for working in the yard and garden. these will work for garden work and are ok on looks, they are kinda hard to get pants tucked in. i have a 17" calf these are supposed to be 17-1/2. hopefully they will last a long time.

I have bought many so-called “wide calf” boots and most of them I wind up giving away or only wearing with tights. I can actually wear skinny leg jeans with these boots. ❤️ Absolutely love them. They are not real leather, so I have no idea how long they’ll last but I’m happy right now. FYI: the foot is not wide, in case it matters.

I love these Black- Tommy Hilfiger Riding Boots- Wide Calf. These are my 2nd pair. I wore those boots so much that I wore the heels down & had to have the heels replaced. I couldn't keep them any longer, once I got a hole across the middle of the right boot. It couldn't be repair. I believe I had my 1st pair boots about 2 years. These are not leather so I'm hoping they will be comfortable for long day wear. I had a similar pair in leather a few years ago but eventually they wore out and was looking to replace and am hopeful these Tommy Hilfiger will last even if theyre PU. I do have wide calves and wanted to make sure any rrokacement pair wouldn't be snug so when I found these I was pleasantly surprised. The top calf area is uper duper wide, so they gap out and not ideal if it rains. We shall see.
