I purchased because I have a rotator cuff injury and was looking for support. Was skeptical about fit and feel of a "posture shirt" but am getting desperate and gave this brand a shot. It is awesome. I've worn it two days straight (took off while sleeping) and the fit and feel is perfect. Snug fit and pulls back shoulders but not so much that I'm sore or tired. I can tell I'm wearing it but it doesn't bother me and I feel better than wearing a traditional under shirt. It reminds me of the feeling I have when wearing a collared shirt and tie - it forces your head up, chest forward, etc. but not in an oppressive way. Bottom line, I just ordered two more and these will be my go to under shirts moving forward. Also, very low smell (I worked out twice in them) and no chaffing. These are great. Very happy with this shirt. Definitely provides strong support for shoulders (posture). Fits perfectly for the XL that I ordered. Helps somewhat for upper back and shoulder pain as well. Please, order from the manufacturer's website, and watch for discounts (best I've seen so far is 40%). I paid 89.50 on amazon, 10 days later i looked at the manufacturer's website and it was on sale for 62.65 (while still 89.50 here), then 6 days later it was on sale for 59.99 on the manufacturer's website, 3 days later it was 53.70. Added bonus for veterans, first responders and teachers, you can get 15% off the sale price, so I saved myself a ton of money by waiting a bit. I'm 5'10" 220 with a 44" chest - so on the top end of the Large sizing scale. I initially ordered 3 shirts in size large (89.50 each). The shirts I got from Amazon rubbed my armpit funny and left it a bit raw after a full day's wearing with normal office work/walking etc... so thinking I got the wrong size, i ordered 3 XLs (again at 89.50 each). The XL were a little loose, and i didn't feel the support for my posture, so I went to the manufacturer's website to find an official sizing chart and Large is supposed to be the right size. That's also when i noticed the price difference, so I've returned the 6 shirts I ordered from Amazon and ordered from the manufacturer ended up getting 8 shirts from them. I've only worn one of the shirts that I got directly from the manufacturer for about half a day so far, but it does seem to fit better, I have not had the discomfort in the armpits that I experienced with the shirts I got from Amazon. The size Large from the manufacturer gives good support to my posture and doesn't feel as snug as the Amazon version. They are snug and can be slightly difficult to get on or off, but for a compression shirt that should be expected. ... show more

Shirts feel sturdy, like they’ll last for years. They fit snug, just like a compression shirt should. My arthritic shoulders felt immediate relief. I can see me wearing these on every upper body workout day and while recovering from the beatings I take mountain biking. Can’t recommend them enough!

I don't usually write reviews so soon after a purchase, but this garment actually has actually helped my posture by relieving the effort to pull my shoulders back while walking my dog in the park. I have a degenerative disc in my neck that was making this activity very painful and the shirt has reduced the pain significantly. Even at the full price ( luckily my daughter had given me a gift card ) I believe the price would be worth if you're experiencing the degree of pain I was.
